Whichever makes you feel comfortable- I would be 50 times more nervous going in to work at a club I hadn't 'sat' in the day before. I like to look at the other dancers, their outfits, etc to get a feel of the place.Quote:

I bet you'll do great in Miami! Enjoy the beach too. ;D
I told my club that I need some time away from them for at least a month. I've been working there for almost 8 months without a break. I was soooooo burned out, it was doing no one any good (especially my pockets) for me to continue working there.
Well, a girlfriend of mine (ex dancer) invited me to come visit her in Miami. So I'll be spending a week with her just to clear the cobwebs and hit the beach. She's been encouraging me to try some of the clubs down here as well.
In all honesty, I'm scared as s***! :-[ I've never worked anywhere else.... Is this feeling normal? Do any of you girls get nervous when you try out a new club? Or do you look at all clubs as the same?
I get nervous at EVERY SINGLE new club, especially if i think about it too much before i get there. Once I get on stage the butterflies go away and I get into "hustle" mode.
I'm a newbie, still learning new pole tricks and how to talk to customers... I get butterflies every time I'm onstage. Sometimes I wonder if having a drink or two like some of the other girls would solve it, but I'm not really the type to depend on a substance to calm my nerves.
I have only worked at one club, but I get nervous every time.
It's normal to be nervous. I still get nervous whenever I try a new club. I think it is because once I am in a club, I get used to the atmosphere, the people and staff, so I feel comfortable. Then when I switch up clubs I get nervous because I don't have that same level of comfort, and it takes a little time before I get settled.
Yep! I still get them. Talk with the nicer girls and guys there and you'll feel more settled.
I hate starting somewhere new, especially when you have to actually "audition". More often than not, it feels like you are auditioning for the other dancers there (stop staring at me bitches!!!))
I think we all feel butterflies, due to the lack of "comf-tability". Relax;), I think you will be well received in Miami:)
Cool, so my friend told me she was gonna take me in there and if I like it start the next day. You think that's a good idea, or should I just jump in there??Quote:
