I'm trying to book several trips and I'm trying to find the best online provider. I'm also wondering if I should just book directly with the airlines.

Lot of times, it depends on your destinations, sometimes directly with the airlines like Southwest, you can only book on their site.
Sometimes the various travel sites online.

If you can vary your departure date, some days are cheaper than others. Scroll through several departure dates. Book at least 1-2 weeks in advance.
& Check with a local travel agent. They buy seats in groups so they can cut a discount where an airline might not. + Use your student or military I.D. for a discount, if applicable.

I'm not sure about which travel sites are best for international flights, but as for airlines, my best experiences EVER have been on Virgin Atlantic. Fly them if you can! Comfortable, generous, friendly - and believe it or not, they actually pull off HIPNESS on top of it all!

hey pookie-- I've found that booking directly with the carrier, especially if they offer miles is the best way to go. They've beat prices several times. That or a travel agent is the only way I've done internationals.
