The gluteal cleft (a.k.a. ass crack) should never ever ever ever be exposed. Ever.
LyssaLynn, I am SO sorry that this had to happen to you. Please help prevent this from ever happening to anyone esle. This jackass should be fired and have his license not just suspended but permanently revoked. Nothing pisses legitimate therapists off more than stories like this! I hope you are able to receive massage comfortably in the future - if you are comfortable only working with female therapists for the time being, any office or spa worth its salt WILL accommodate this request.
