Ok I just heard that London Bridge song by Fergie. I think it is terrible, possibly one of the worst songs I have ever heard. I think she is awful and she ruined the Black Eyed Peas. OK I feel better now. What does everyone else think?

Ah. No. Fergie added a LOT to the Black Eyed Peas.
I love Fregie-espescially without the peas!
I remember her from Kids Incorperated.
Omg.. I am old
London Bridge is getting played out already, but I still like her.
I like that song!
*shakes fist*
Personally I don't like it, but I do appreciate that she is doing her own thing. She did do a lot of good stuff with the Peas but I think "London Bridge" is a little to ghetto fab for me.

I think she was great with the Black Eyed Peas, but her solo London Bridges song is just awful.
I think shes trying to bite gwen stephani style, she just not that talented.
I'm waiting for Go Home Productions or someone else worthy to mash up London Bridge and Hollaback Girl, since they are the same song. Personally, I never really liked BEP anyway. That "Weekends" song was okay, but were they ever really playable before Fergie? Nope. I remember her from Kids Inc as well, sir, don't feel too old. Her and Martika. Tooooooooy Sooooooldiers.
Black Eyed Peas are a guilty pleasure. Yeah, they are talentless hacks but damn if they're music doesn't make me feel good.
Not "London Bridges". That song sucks. Makes me long for "Stars are Blind." And NOTHING should EVERY do that.

I was a little too young for kids incorporated, but Fergie really can sing, at least she could when she was 10:

That being said, London Bridges is an awful song. But I think that's true of almost all music of the past decade or so. Even so, almost everyone that I know loves the Black Eyed Peas, from my emo/indie ex roommate, to my mother who is a die hard 60s-70s listener. I also think it's official that Disney is offically a slut factory.
I listened to the BEP before Fergie came into the group. Sure, she made them more playable and radio friendly but she came into the group with and agenda. I remember reading somewhere that she ultimately wants a solo career and she will get that by any means nessesary. I guess I just feel she used the BEP and thats lame.
It sounds like they used each other....and it worked!Quote:

as with all BEP songs i really dislike them but always end up with them in my head...i think her london bridge song is the same.....grrr i hate it when that happens!
Bring back The Black Eyed Peas! I just heard the song.
Um...is she pulling a Gwen Stefani? Breaking up a perfectly good band to get all wannabe ghetto with herself. Urgh.
They both suck.
Oh you mean they both tried to 'bite' Missy Elliots style..Quote:

First time I heard the song I didn't mind it. Second time I heard the song my reaction was - meh. Third time I heard the song I wanted to jam an icepick through my skull. >:(
fergie is the main reason BEP makes money. i don't -like- her music. it's retarded throw away pop with trite lyrics, but that's what a huge percentage of american music consumers want. the proof is in the $$$$$$$$. it can be fun if you just think of it in a horrible sarcastic way.
London Bridges and I'm in Love with a Stripper can garner 2006 as the worst music year in history EVER!
