approaching groups of 2 or more
How do you approach a group of 2 or more and strike up conversation? I have no problem approaching a single guy at a table and doing my thing. But when there's more than 1 guy, I either avoid them or I just ask the dreaded question "anybody wanna dance?" I think I miss out on scads of money because of this.
Re: approaching groups of 2 or more
If it's a big group, I pick on one guy who has a seat next to him and chat to him first. Then after a bit of small talk you can flutter your eyelashes and giggle and go "Aren't you gonna introduce me to your buddies? Where are your manners!?"... at this point if you ask for dances they invariably all single out one guy, shouting "He does! Take him!". They often pay for him too so it's an easy sell.
P.S. I think this post should be in the hustle hut section?

Re: approaching groups of 2 or more
I'm a newbie but my "big sister" aka the girl I follow gave me some great advise.
She will go and sit with a group of guys... She will chat it up (this is better for a slower day shift) and see whos droppin the cash.
Me and her sat with 2 guys we're one guy was keeping score on who was paying tab while the other guy was just throwin money down.
My "sis" got 2 dances from the guy who was spending more... The other guy ended up being cheap and actually didnt buy any dances and barely tipped any girls.
Re: approaching groups of 2 or more
I just approach them.... Usually I will get right in between them...and say something silly/sweet/stupid anything to get the conversation started, and I will find the one who is obviously more into my company than the other then curl up in HIS lap, at the same time, asking his friend if he needs help finding someone to dance for him.
For larger groups I grab a friend. Just head on over and find out what the special occasion is (if any) and basically invite myself to the party...I'll take up about a song and a half joking, teasing and talking to them, and when I find the one that seems the most receptive to me I crawl onto his lap....at that point I can make my way around the group.....
I used to hate dancing for groups, but I figured out a trick to get them to encourage eachother to buy dances..... "Hey there! Awe, what's wrong with your buddy over there? He looks so lonely!/Pissy!/Cocky!/(you get the point)"then I say "You should buy him a dance, if you think he can handle it...." that's just one thing, but it's an idea...anyway...groups are nothing to fear, they can be lots of fun if they aren't already too drunk.
Re: approaching groups of 2 or more
Groups can be good because you can dance for everyone single one of them at the table. Just say "Ok, who's my next victim?" And then if they don't say anything, I'll go right up to one of them and say "You're next, ready or not" A man's not going to say no. You have to have the mindset that he's getting a dance whether he wants one or not, he's getting one and that's all there is to it!
Re: approaching groups of 2 or more
Wow this is a lot of good advice. I guess dealing with groups you just to be ready to feel out the situation a little more. Thankyou guys!
...yeah, I should've posted this under Hustle Hut now that I think about it.

I've known Madmaxine for a long time so, sometimes when there is a large group of guys we will work them over together. It works out pretty well for both of us. We make money with very little intimidation factor.
Re: approaching groups of 2 or more
Depends on the "mood" of the group. If there are signs they're trying to "compete" (aka, trying to throw out more money than the other one(s) on stage, etc), then I've found the best thing to do, hands down, is to stroll up very confidently and seductively, smile slyly, and say "So which one of you gentlemen will be escorting me upstairs?"
I've gotten dances from each one in the group this way. They all want to say they got the best dance so it ends up talking the remaining guys into getting one too. :)
