How To Get My Groove Back!!??
I've been dancing for about a month in Vegas (never danced before), and for the most part, it has been great. Yet, I'm not making very much. At first, I was starting to believe that it was because I'm Black. Now, I'm realizing it is because I'm not sexually agressive enough.
Since learning this, I've been less likely to approach custys thinking that they're not gonna want me anyway or they're just gonna be disappointed by the dance I give them. I KNOW that this mindset is hurting me financially.
Other than a couple of days off to regroup, what does anyone suggest to put me back on the road to positive thinking?:-\

I think you need to reflect.
It appears to me that the reason why you think this about the custies is because you do not believe yourself to be the absolutely hottest thing that walks the earth. You gotta boost your self esteem!
I've been doing this the past few days. You have to start looking at your good points, start thinking that these good points are -great- and the -best-. If you get any nagging thoughts, you have to ignore them and push them away from your mind.
It might seem like denial to turn a blind eye to your faults, and in some way it is. But it really helps.
The more you start to believe it, your attitude and acting will change and you actually -will- become the sexiest thing to walk the earth.
It's all about mindset.
Oh, and be nice to you, you deserve it because you're so awesome, remember? :D

This is the bottomline, in dancing.
The best dancers aren't always the most photogenic, or whatever. They are the ones who exude sexual confidence, and an ability to charm their customers, not necessarily talents that go together, but devastating in combination.
