A not so corny Halloween tracklist?
so, I'm getting bored with my normal party cd and wanted to see what are some good but not too corny Halloween songs...they could be about halloween, or just super dark.
Marilyn manson comes to mind.
And I saw someone recommend Little Shop of Horrors "dentist" on another thread.
What are some other good ones?

Re: A not so corny Halloween tracklist?
Well, it's not what I'd consider corny, but I've been known to cheese it up here and there - what about "Every day is Halloween" by good ol' Ministry? In fact. that inspires me to do make a set around that song right now . . .

Re: A not so corny Halloween tracklist?
new here..
but concrete blondes the vampire song is a great one.
fun songs would be - feed my frankenstien by alice cooper, maybe scared by dangerous toys.. the classic one would be werewolves of london...
Ever year on my radio show - we do a Halloween special - so I have tons of songs you could use that are more hard rock oriented.
(btw - radio show is ) I just stumbled on here from an entertainer at the club suggesting to check it out the other night.
hello. :)

Re: A not so corny Halloween tracklist?
Misfits sound terrible, I've said this before. I love them, but they've never remastered any of the albums, and they just sound muddy and ugh and yuck. Plus, the songs are 2 minutes, tops. The Fantomas album alluded to above is called "Director's Cut". Fantomas was/is Mike Patton, Buzz from Melvins, Dave Lombardo from Slayer...and...someone else. I dont recall right now, it's late. I saw them live on that tour and they blew my doors off. Would I play it? Maybe on Halloween, yeah. The Cramps "I Was A Teenage Werewolf" is fun on Halloween if the mood fits it.
Nightmare before xmas.....it's playing in 3-D at the IMAX downtown this weekend. I'm there!
