I hate this show. It gives me anxiety, lol!
But I agree that some are so greedy that they forget things like odds.
I hate to admit this, but when I watched it for the 1st time, it took me half of the show to realize that the host is Howie Mandel.
Howie Then:

One of those random shows like The Soup made a video montage of all the various silly ways Howie says "deal....or no deal?" and smooshed them all together. That was funny. The show, eh....it's okay.
I love when the idiots touch Howie (or at least try to).. Heh. He's deathly afraid of germs. Watch him on talk shows too---he won't shake hands. He bangs fists with the other person instead.
I read that somewhere too! I miss the old Howie...not really liking the bald, suit and tie Howie.Quote:

I loved Howie way back on St. Elsewhere. I'm not loving Bald Howie now though, either.
I love this show. Tonight a lady won $186,000 (I think), but she had the $1,000,000 in her case. But I would've done the same thing since she still had some low amounts left on the board.
I agree that a lot of people don't know when to stop. I heard of a lady last season only walking away with $5 because she had the $1, $5, and $300,000 and kept going. She knocked out the $300,000. I didn't feel sorry for her at all.

If I were on there and they offered me $25000 and a weekend in Vegas with Megan (the hot brunette who holds case #6), I'd seriously consider hitting that button.
:P :flirt:
And its easy for us to judge when were not the ones up there with possibly tens of thousands of dollars on the line, but damn that gal tonight who had the million should have gone at least one more round.
What I loved tonight was that the $1 million was in case #8 both times. I wonder how many people who watched the last game would strategically avoid picking it (and subsequently having it opened early) figuring it would have a tiny amount in it.
Man, I seriously dislike this show. I like game shows where you actually have to do something to deserve a prize.

Holy crap! It's one of my all-time fave shows too! My favorite episode was the one with Mrs. Hufnagel. My Sister and I made many jokes to our Mother about it, because at the time she had a regular Hospital bed back then (She's got a sand/air bed now). We threatened to mess around with the buttons all the time. Heh.Quote:

What was the name of Howie's cartoon? Bobby's World I think. That was the best thing he ever did, IMHO I loved when the mom would say "don't cha knoww" with that Minnesota accent! No good cartoons on t.v. anymore!
I remember "Bobby's World". How about "Little Monsters"? He'll always be the voice of Gizmo to me, though.
Anyway...as for the show, I have only watched it a couple of times, but I'd be perfectly happy with 186 G's. Sure a million would be better but I wouldn't be complaining. That's like people that dont play the lottery this week because "Oh, it's ONLY 30 million".
Two of the guys at my office are hooked on Deal or No Deal. But I'm sure it has nothing to do with the 26 beautiful models....
