"Hacking MySpace Using Common Sense"
The actual title of an article from the current issue of 2600: The Hacker Quarterly. I purchased a copy, after being told about it by a friend, for one article: "Identity Theft: Misinformation Can Be Your Friend." which had some good suggestions about protecting your legal identity. Btw, I bought this magazine at one of the two major revolutionary/anarchist bookstores in town, Borders. And the other bookstore which carries the magazine is Barnes and Noble.
Anyway, the article mentioned in the subject title actually gave suggestions as to how to "hijack" someone else's MySpace account. Somehow, this doesn't seem as though it would be legal, but otoh, I guess publication of the article falls under the First Amendment.
The only other article I've found of interest so far, notes that cellphones with tiny computer operating systems will be the next major target of attack for computer viruses. The two primary OSes noted in the article, "Mobile Devices - Current and Future Security Threats," are Symbian and Windows Mobile 5.0
Re: "Hacking MySpace Using Common Sense"
Symbian OS has been hacked allready unfortunatily. As well, windows mobile 5 isn't all that secure either... but if you have it on sprints broadband wireless network....fuhgitaboutit.
Re: "Hacking MySpace Using Common Sense"
For those of us NOT in the USA are you able to share the article (scan it and then email it as an image attachment) ?? Or at least give the general gist of how someone would go about hacking into myspace ??
I want this information so then I can see how I can avoid having my account hacked into.
