I had to check with my daughter as she listens to and creates that type of music...I'm just the "old" mom now, lol.
She said to try Fischerspooner, The Faint, Assemblage 23, and Ladytron.
Hope that helps.
Goldfrapp has a song that sounds very similar to ooh la la... I can't seem to find it. Know which one I mean?
I've downloaded and listened to quite a few of their songs but I can't say I like any of them enough to dance to besides ooh la la, anyone know of anything similar to that one song?
I know they have a whole cd of remixes coming out called "We Are Glitter". I think it might be out tomorrow, actually.
Gave it a listen MrChristopher and it's not too bad.... the # 10 track "Ride a White Horse - Fk Ek Vocal" got a good beat and not too much of that old school- Casio type keyboard sound that can be a little much at times. Benny Benassi does a remix of "Ooh La La" which is pretty cool.
If you go to Goldfrapp's myspace, that 'ooh la la' song is on there. I am 99.9% sure that's the name of it, too, so you should be able to find it at downloading sites. Not that I condone donwloading or anything ..... ;)
EDIT..... oops, I wasn't paying full attn to the post about the song sounding similar to ooh la la .....for some reason I thought that post was wondering what the name of the song was. Oops, sorry. :)
the one that sounds close to "oh la la" is "strict machine"
