i'm ready for you
I think that tonight I'm going to try something a little different than my usual asking the guys if they are ready (in a closed-ended way with a little 'yeah?' lilt) -- TELLING them that I am ready to dance for them. Ok with that in mind I'll have to adapt it to different situations... like maybe
"Oh! Well after this song I have to go onstage. That will get me heated up and ready for YOU, darling!"
"...I'm ready to dance for you now. Can you handle it? *wink*"
"Yum. This margarita is delicious. I know that after I finish this drink I'll be nice and ready for dances!" (then repeat a minute later after drink is done.)
Let you guys know how it works... I figure it's an assumptive sale that allows them to reject me without too much awkwardness.
But yeah, this inversion is my sales technique goal of the night. Huzzah!

Why would you want that? Make it as difficult as you reasonably can for them to reject you!

Re: i'm ready for you
Wow, just walking into work with the hustle mindset seems to radiate success. I actually just had a couple of guys occupy me (hmm that sounds dirty) with dances, dinner and drinks until I got off shift (I got there early in the evening so it's slow hustle time before the number of girls triples and they open multiple stages). I think that just knowing I had a new tactic made the night easier even though I just used my old tricks.
And colleen, good point. I think that I'll try gently taking their hand/squeezing their knee/some other physical signal when I say 'ready'.

Re: i'm ready for you
it does wonders when you are in the right mindset to hustle. :)
