never mind
sometimes they tell you. They aren't all working and they are not all trying to arrest you! But if you're talking about UC cops who are working....
I don't know. I would assume they don't drink alcohol first off.
Personally, in my opinion, the best way to work about this is to know your local laws, and what you can and cannot do in your club (call your local lawyer for free advice rather than asking your boss(es) and hope they're telling you the truth). And, do what I do- treat everyone like they're a cop. That way there's no guess work involved. If you treat them all the same way, there's little to no chance of you getting in trouble with them.
you would only be asking this if you were overly concerned... don't break the rules and let touching go on and this wont be an issue.
and yes, i've danced for plenty of cops. i had a VIP with one, he was a gentleman. just needing to "blow off steam" after a nasty divorce he said.
Not true in some states/cities. For example, in Seattle undercover vice cops will come in and pay for a dance and then arrest you, regardless of what kind of touching occurred. They can arrest you for maintaining eye contact too long.
So, it depends on what the laws are in your area. Don't assume that because something fits with the rules of the club or because all of the girls do it that it's legal.
I danced for an Immigration officer once. I stuttered the whole time. "I don't... have my passport...on me... but... bridging visa A... I can... get it for you!!!!"
... and he was all, "Dude, relax, I'm here for fun!"
I nearly shat myself when he came in, though.
I've danced for cops many times. I dont do anything I'm not supposed to so i never worry(the laws here are pretty lax so theres little chance of getting arrested for BS like eye contact...thats INSANE!). I've told cops to go fuck themselves(when it obvious that they are trying to "catch" me doing something.."really..i wont tell...how much for a BJ...are they kidding???")
I've told cops that i charge extra for law enforcement since they are usually such a pain in the ass(they have a tendency around here to ask for "freebies" AND be handsier then most...ugh)
The time I was drugged 5 yrs ago was by a cop..a sherrifs office cop no less...took me to the champagne room and told me if I didnt fuck him he'd pull me over on the way home. I told him to hand over his badge because I'd own it the next day anyway since what he said was on security tape(there was no sound but I was banking on him not knowing that which he didnt). His retaliation was to come back in and slip something in my drink and try to "take care of me" by taking me home. Thankfully me(and the friends taking care of me didnt fall for it. And yes, I'm sure he was a cop..a friend knew him.
A cop would probably try and touch you during a dance here. I just tell them like any other customer that "touching is not allowed.. do it again and I end your dance". I think they want to make sure you are allowing certains things to go on that are illegal of course. Ive danced for a few vice..I just play along to humor them and act stupid and do my job as the law made it that way.
I just spent a month in Tampa where a pretty long sting was just wrapped up. There were a lot of newspaper articles about how the cops DID spend taxpayers money on alcohol while on the job, so I woudn't assume cops don't drink.
I also wouldn't assume that a cop wouldn't try to grab you or entrap you into doing something illegal. There are good cops and there are dirty cops. I'll give you two guesses as to which ones sign up for undercover strip clubs stings.
Yes, I dance for a cop many times. In fact my best customers are cops. I have not met (knock on wood) a cop that was trying to get me to perform bad acts. I find that cops have the most stressful job. As long as you can keep loan them a good ear. They are like puddy in your hands.
Yes, I've danced for them. I agree, if you follow the rules, there never is an issue with them. Actually, they are normally great customers. This one came in that was all muscles and apparently thought he didn't have to follow the rules all the way, which I was quick to inform him otherwise. If you ever feel uncomfortable though, don't give the person a dance.
I've danced for some off duty cops and I thought they were pretty handsy... One of my friends hangs out with a group of detectives and they come into my work all the time and are super funny and cool but they don't spend a lot of money...I'm not sure if I have ever danced for like a vice cop. I hope not and I would like to keep it that way!
I once had a cop be my "magical" customer....he bought 57 dances in a row (would NOT move into VIP for anything...I had blisters for a week). Perfect gentleman the whole time, hands at his sides. No one else would touch him, because he revealed he was a cop to one dancer and word spread like wildfire (I was told afterwards). I was a dumb newbie (my 1st week!), so I wasn't part of the loop yet.
Def. had 2 bouncers walk me out to the car that night (not to fend off the custys, but the green-eyed strippers!) . But anyway - just goes to show, ya never know who's got the dough (or credit card, in this case)!
:cop:
Haha, My manager's husband is a cop! And he came in last week with 10 of his cop mates for his birthday party!
Well our manager grabbed me and two other girls to go dance for three of them, completely unbeknownst to us that one of them was her husband! she let us know afterwards mind you, and after she had said 'get a bit dirty with them'! Ha! Never would of danced if I'd known it she said! To be fair up to that point I'd thought it was quite shady these guys getting champagne and VIP treatment for nothing, I thought it was a bribe or something but no, just the boss's man having a laugh
That was the only time :)
A guy came to the club one night, was so polite and super sweet, bought dance after dance. And it didn't hurt that he was oh so adorable!
So after the 15th dance I look at him and say "You make me want to break the law" and he cracks up! So I sit on his lap and say "Holy crap you're a cop huh?"
He was so nervous to tell me because he didn't want the dances to stop...but I had no problem with it. He was off duty, a regular guy like anyone else coming to a bar to have some fun and blow some steam. He wound up being a Reg of mine for a while.
I have danced for other cops before that too. I don't think I have ever danced for Vice though....I'm sure I would have heard about it by now if I had! ;)
We have some cops come in sometimes that are real cool, but I did do a VIP with this one officer and to this day he is the nastiest SOB I've ever encountered.
My third night of dancing I am pretty sure I danced for a cop. About 10 seconds into the dance he was like:
"So I was wondering if you will have sex for money?" I was like dude...no. And he was like "How much would it cost to get a hand job or a blow job?" I was like DUDE NO. He was like "Okay, what girl here can I talk to to get that or perhaps get drugs?" I was like fucking no one. He just kept asking shit like that all weird sounding and specific. So I was like I'm ending the dance now give me my money. Bah. He was weird.
