does anyone have a pic of these scrunchy butt bikini things cause i have no earthly idea what yall are talking about??????
OMG, runching runching EVERYWHERE!
The gathered-back thongs making the rounds at our club. It started off with one girl having a thong with a slightly wider back (flaring out to the same width at the top as the top of the front) with a gather up the back. Everybody asked out housemom about them, and now everybody has them. I've gone back to wearing the simple t-backs just to be different. I just spent like fifteen minutes googling around trying to find a good piccture of them, but they're nowhere to be found.
Almost all the gowns I'm finding nowadays are either (1) runched or (2) have a deep cowl neck or else they just have both. It's starting to feel a little ridiculous.
Oh, and are the faux-two-piece gowns a new thing at all? I feel like they're the other big trend at my club, though I've gotten the sense that they've always been around.
I can't really get into the legwarmer thing. I think there was a period of a few months when I wore knee-high socks that matched my outfits. Then I realized the foot fetishists weren't coming around as much.
Clear heels go with every color and they don't wear and scuff like other color shoes. I think that's why girls like them so much. I have one pair, but I only wear them because I can slip them on and off easily when I do dances since I'm trying to be kinder to my back. My usual black heels with the ankle strap are hard to take on and off quickly.
My new "uniform" is a skirt with nothing underneath and a bra. I am boycotting thongs (they are unhealthy and uncomfortable) and booty shorts are only occasional these days. I want my vag to BREATHE, dammit! :P And it makes a more compelling argument toward giving nude only dances rather than just topless. Sometimes I tell customers that I can't do topless because I've got nothing underneath my skirt. Then they usually are happy to do the nude dance.
fishnets were really in for a while. it seems to get old fast when everyone wears it though.
if i am correct i think these are it:

Scrunchy butts from BodyZone (BodyZone is based in Phoenix btw - big surprise ;D ):
Leg warmers have been the thing in Vegas for a while now. It elongagtes the legs.;D
Hahaha I still wear my rhinestone chocker from ebay and sometimes I see others wear them as well. I wish the bikini would be updated or die out here. Im so tired of seeing the same damn bikini on pretty much every single girl. Or girls that just wear plain colored bras and boy shorts.. gah!!
Okay, I thought I'd chime in!
Corsets/bustiers: I started seeing alot of them over 3 years ago when I first started working in San Francisco.
Rhinestone (or anything sparkly) chokers: I stared wearing mine 5 years or so ago and still wear one!
Leg Warmers: The first time I saw a girl wearing them was about 3 years ago, also in San Francisco.
Scrunchy Butt Bikini Bottoms: The first time I saw these was about 4 years ago, in Boise!
Cowl neck tops/dresses: A little more recent, about 2 years ago, but still in full force!
Clear heels: I love them! They're great to wear with any color, especially red or white, as these colors tend to get distorted under black lights. With clear, they're always the same color! It's really just a personal preference for me.
I believe clear heels, and rhinestone chokers are a "staple" not a fad in our buisness. Its all about being gawdy as it is. Over the top and seeing things that you wouldnt get to normally see in the outside world. Although I've seen plenty o' girls wearing clear heels at bars.
The other things that Im sure will never cease are bikinis in any fashion , neon colors ( admit it, we all own one thing that would be considered neon ) and something in fake fur trim.
Remember when those fake fur jackets were all the rage in some clubs ( around the time the rhinestone belts and chokers made an appearance ) or the really bad metalic shit
Thongs are believe are the only stape in our wardrobes that have made the biggest changes through the years.
Since BodyZone, who makes most of them, is based in Phoenix, and since I've been seeing the girls here wear them THE WHOLE FRIGGIN TIME since I came here 3 years ago, I think they've been the stripper gear staple around here for much longer than that I cannot imagine having to look at the same bikinis on strippers for that long. The 3 years I've been looking at them here is MORE than enough for me.
Yall are making me want another rhinestone choker. I wear alot of gowns anyway so it'll fit perfectly. I do miss them!!! I'm gonna get one ;D
Where's a link to this "scarf thing" people keep talking about? I'm at a gown club, so I haven't seen it yet (I don't think)
Electriqueboutique.com has it. its listed under clubwear dancewear. Its called a wraparound romper. It wouldn't let me save the pic, but you should be able to see it there. I've seen one girl wear it and it didn't look bad. I kinda want one, but I'm afraid It'll look stupid on me.
Um, I like to wear chaps once in a while. I never take them off since my ass is already out and thong visible.
I like to wear anything that's BRIGHT and different from what everyone else has on. It makes people look, and that's the first step in selling. I've got this neon pink gown with long sleeves and a back slit that looks fabulous on me, and glows like nobody's business under the blacklights. It turns me into a walking neon T&A sign. I make money every time I wear it ;D
I don't see that many girls wearing rhinestone chokers anymore, not like a few years ago. Of course, I've spent most the last 3 years in Phx, the scrunchybutt capital. heh.
Several girls here have taken to buying those fencenet body stockings and cutting the feet out and cutting them in half at the waist, so they become a 2piece deal. And guess what? They wear them on TOP of their scrunchybutts! LOL!!
The scarf romper:

I think it kinda looks like a diaper. At least in that pic.
Lol it does look like a diaper- mine is alot less fabric than that, and it's not that silly wrinkly fabric. I saw a dancer wearing one on a club website, I'll try to find it.
