Working New Year's?
My club doesn't have anything special going on for New Year's...and I am wondering if I should work or go away for the weekend. I love New Year...I worked Thanksgiving weekend, and it was a little dissappointing, and I am planning to work Christmas---not that I care about that since I'm not christian.
Who's working on New Year's?

Re: Working New Year's?
I was considering it. I'm going to get the scoop from the other girls but I have a toddler so I wouldnt go out anyways so I might as well go to the club... more exciting then sitting on the coach.

Re: Working New Year's?
I've worked on New Year's once. In my experience, it wasn't really worth it. It was mostly cheap drunks who spent most of their money at the regular bars first, and then came to the strip club to spend what little was left over of their money. I wished I had gone out with my friends instead. But on the other hand, I've heard of other girls banking on New Year's. Go with whatever you feel like doing. ;)

Re: Working New Year's?
amateurs and their bitchy girlfriends are out, looking to party....not get lap dances. NYE is a couple's holiday, not "out with the boys" holiday.
Stay home and order a pizza. You'll be glad you did.
disclaimer: I'm working, but only because there's a home football game at 1:00, but I'll be home at night. I'll probably work the next day (jan 1) because there's a big parade and as strange as it sounds, it bring in a big crowd of drunk men (mummers) in clown makeup. But this is a local thing. I wouldn't work in another city.

Re: Working New Year's?
There's way too much cool stuff going on for me to try to work, and even if I did I know it would suck. Hence what Emily said. Go out, have some fun and entertain yourself instead of everyone else. (just be safe, of course!) I'm going to go to some ball at the Westin St. Francis so I can get all glitzed up in a beautiful dress, drink bubbly and have fun. I haven't been to a formal event since my prom, I'm really excited! ;D

Re: Working New Year's?
I made average money last year- not amazing, not bad. The key is to glom on to a lonely guy who's willing to pay to make sure he has a NYE to remember.
I don't think I'll work it this year though.

Re: Working New Year's?
i worked new year's once (last jan). the money was good, but there were indeed a ton of couples to weed through prior to midnight. it is worth noting that i only did well by staying late enough to catch the guys too drunk on the club's free champagne to leave after midnight-1am.

Re: Working New Year's?
I've worked New Year's a couple of times and it was either hit or miss. The first year was awesome, but I was in a military town where most guys are single, so that helped. I was in Nashville for 2004-2005 and it sucked. As soon as my minimum hours were over I left, and I was pissed that I spent my New Year's with the lame ass guys in my club. Screw it, don't work. It seems like there would be more negative results than positive.
Go have some fun!
