So I think this post is more for me to feel better than to actually get anything across, but...
I decided I am just not going back to work at my club. I started at this neighborhood strip club place about two weeks ago and there are just too many problems.
The pros: Everyone is very nice, there aren't too many girls, there are no house fees at all.
But the cons: There are no bouncers. No manager on shift--he just comes and checks on the club around 2pm and that's it, so it's basically just the bartender lady managing us and about three dancers. The shifts are 8 hours long--seems long to me, as I've only ever worked 6 hour shifts dancing. Not too many customers come in, maybe about 20-25 in that 8 hour period. They ask me to work too many days because they don't have enough girls. It just feels like working at this club is having a needy girlfriend or something.
I did make good money there but... It's like the same amount of money I would make working a 6 hour shift at a showbar.
So I'm going to go out and try to get a job at a nice showbar place by my house today and I'm basically terrified.
