I didn't think horror flicks were strictly their kind of thing, but if they got the checkbook, I got the script. These is mighty exciting times. :D

Congrats Legion!!! *gives a huge hug* hope it works out for ya!!!
That'd be great Legion, glad to hear some good news these days :)
Details...DETAILS...
So you got a meeting with some reps?
Yes, SPILL!!! ;D
inquiring minds want to know !!! Actually, I have a personal interest since I've done some R rated horror film acting in the past (had my tits sliced off by a machete in 'Bachelor Party Massacre' !)
Melonie, have I ever told you that you're my fucken hero???
I wish you would come to stripperfest ;D
^^^ actually it was tons of fun ... say a few lines, do a few lapdances, scream ... the basic script was so similar to real-life events in some 'creepy' clubs that I had actually worked in - now THAT was the scariest part !
the part that was the most fun though was going through about 3 hours worth of special effects makeup to do the machete scene (that got about 15 seconds worth of screen time).
I don't want to hijack the thread though .... Legion ????????????
STRIPPERFEST, dammit!!! You suck if you don't come :P
So uh, Legion. If ya need someone(s) to play a big-titted chic to get sliced up, I'd love to audition ;D ;D And perhaps it could be a duo. I've always wanted to know the pleasure of having my face buried between Mel's giant boobs. I'm sure it could be used in a scene somewhere. HAHAHAH!!!
/shameless attempt at movie-whoring
You would be joining some of the most revered horror pictures of all time if you went with Universal:
Dracula
Frankenstein
Wolfman
Mummy
Invisible Man
All Universal...and all classics. Hope yours becomes one of them. Good luck.
I was an extra in a mini-series once. Its not all its cracked up to be believe me. We spent an entire day shooting a scene that I think took up two minutes of airtime.
:-\
Anyone here remember Amerika with Kris Kristofferson and Robert Urich in it? It kind of put an end to the weeklong 12-14 hour miniseries era that Roots had started a decade earlier. Granted it wasn't a horror film, but it might as well have been.
About the highlight of the experience for me was getting Robert Urich's autograph and finding out from my folks that Mariel Hemmingway had shopped at their store. I still have my costume in a closet somewheres. I can't confirm it, but I think my butt was on TV for about half a second. We videotaped it when it first aired back in '87, and have never watched it since. It was that f-ing boring.
But I digress.
congrats, and universal used to be a major horror studio, they're credited with making the genre what it is today!
I'm a little spazzy about the horror..... love it!!!!
congrats, may your movie join the greats!
(edit)
dylan- haha.... I posted this before I read yours!
Are you a little horror buff too?;)
oh definantly keep us informed...i LOOOOOOVE horror movies! :)
Well, congrats...but I won't be watching it.
I run away from horror films...I'm 32, and I will STILL get nightmares if I watch that shit. LOL
dylan- do you have this book:
it's got some really obscure films- my goal is to watch them all... but some are hard to track down. I recently watched "the devils backbone" (it's a spanish film, subtitled. I loved it!)
^^Well, avoid this one, then. Mucho scary-ness in it, mainly because the after the monster shows up and starts doing the usual teenager-massacre-ing thing, the monster gets massacred by something even worse. All the spoilers I'm gonna give.
for sure!!, as paige said--- it's fantastic!!!
Make sure you've got a good entertainment lawyer. Are you directing it or just selling it?
Wow, best of luck. That would be awesome if they bought it.
I guess there are lots of stripper actresses, I once had my "arm" hacked off in a horror film. I'm a good screamer! ;D
Please keep us updated.
Lol ^^^^ one of my best friends from when I was a pro dom (and she was a dancer before that) is a great horrow actress. She's finally been getting so much (paid) work offered to her that she's started to turn some down!!!
Congrats legion! Let us know how it goes!!!
I'm an acting major, by the way.....
wink wink, nudge nudge
and I would love you forever.....
j/k, kinda. best of luck!!!
