I Wanna Work In America....
We get alot of Americans at My club and they always tell Me about how differnt dancing is here in Canada and how it is in America.
The way they talk about it to Me really sounds like the way exotic dancing should be! I think I would be so happy working in America.
Customers told Me that guys at the perv roll actualy have to tip. And they don't allow cell phones to even be turned on! Here You can call sumone on You'r phone while in the club. I hear that the dances are differnt here custys can touch us but in america You touch them. They say theres more one on one getting to sit and chat with customers (witch means getting good regulars) just asapoise (Sp?) to (for my club example) girls just going up to a guy as soon as they come in grabing them and getting them to go for a dance right away.
Theses American guys are getting Me really intrested in danicng in America I shall definitly try it sum day :) .
So Just wondering for You girls who have worked in both countries witch one do You prefere?
Re: I Wanna Work In America....
And a lot of men I've talked to here in the states, that have gone to clubs in Canada, like Canada's clubs better. The grass is always greener, and all that jazz.
Plenty of girls talk on cell phones while working in the states, BTW.
And whats a perv roll?
Re: I Wanna Work In America....
Perv roll l0l!! thats what we call it up here.. Its the tip rail.
In Canada guys can sit there and they don't have to tip at all.
Re: I Wanna Work In America....
Which province in Canada do you work in? Stripping varies a LOT from province to province.
Re: I Wanna Work In America....
I haven't seen a strip club insist that tip rail customers actually tip in years. Don't believe everything you hear.
In America you can get arrested for giving a standard lap dance in most areas. Nothing like going to jail for prostitution when you are doing your job the only way that the club is set up to let you do your job.::) Luckily it doesn't happen often.
Cell phones are everywhere. I worked for a club that had a no cell phone policy, but people would leave the club insead of putting it in their car. So yeah, cell phones are everywhere.
And the fact that dancers have to chat up a customer isn't because it helps gain regulars. It is because guys are difficult to sell to. In some clubs if the girls hope to get any dances at all they have to talk and flirt with the customer for at least a couple of songs before getting shot down with answers like "Oh, but you're too nice, I couldn't buy a dance from you" and other lame excuses.
It sounds to me like the American customers that you've met are trying to manipulate you into giving them free time, and putting off buying dances until they get to see you on stage.
Playing field is probably level when you take all things into consideration.

No, actualy while giving My customers dancing we tend to chat often. I would never stick around with a custy just to chat about america at a table and not get paid

I work in Montreal, Quebec. I also use to work in St.Johns, Newfoundland. Pretty much same consept in both provinces. Only difference I noticed was that in Newfoundland You can sit on a guys lap where as in Quebec You are not aloud and in Newfoundland the clubs offer both contact or non contact at the same club but in Quebec You eather have You'r two differnt types of clubs, A club with contact only or a club with no contact only.
Re: I Wanna Work In America....

Yes! I HAD to bold that one part. Cheap fuckers just sit there... GRRR.
Re: I Wanna Work In America....
Hmmm.. Yes You girls are right I shouldn't belive everything I heard.. I remember it was Rhode Island the guy was from who said they have to tip at the tip rail.
Re: I Wanna Work In America....
Guys will ALWAYS tell you that the clubs elsewhere are the best. It's a tired old way of trying to get you to offer more. Tell them to shut up. America is a big place...some clubs are good, some aren't. If a guy is telling you that all the clubs in 'America' are a certain way, that's a sure sign that he's bullshitting you and knows not of what he speaks.
