What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
Well I notice we're all a part of the strip club culture. So what other thing's are people on here into? I guess I'll kick it off.
Hip-hop culture is a big part of my life, I'm into most of the elements of hip-hop. Not DJ'ing, but got alot of respect for that.
Skateboarding, though considering the risk factor to my health, I have thought of doing this less. I haven't had any broken bones yet, but maybe I should quit while I'm ahead.
Otaku, got's to have my anime and manga. Although I don't go as far as cosplaying I do shamelessly promote my fanfic, which you can find here http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2700286/1/ . Ahem, leave a review if you feel the urge.;D
Drug, while I no longer partake of illegal substances, I do still drink on occassion and smoke cigarettes. Maybe one day I can say I'm no longer a part of this culture, but for now it is what it is.
Sports, gotta love 'em, I'm in Houston so I love all my hometown teams. I like to participate in sport's whenever the opportunity presents itself. GO TEXANS, ASTROS, AND ROCKETS!!
Hmm, that's all I can think of right now. So what about the rest of you?

Re: What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
Production types have a sub-culture, so I guess that counts. Most of my friends are assistant directors and other crew types. We do get a little cliquey.
I also belong to , although I'm not very active in it these days.

Re: What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
Definitely music would be #1 for me. I listen to mostly indie bands who I absolutely love, but most people have never heard of because they don't get radio play. I *heart* SXSW and make the trek to Austin every March to get my fix. I'm addicted to travel too (not sure if that's really a subculture though!)

Politics }:D, I'm a talk radio junkie! I know way too much about what is going on around the planet. I'm sure my local lawmakers have me on their "ignore" list because I like to send letters telling them what I want them to do:O.
Construction. This is a sub culture in and of itself. We've even got our own slang and everything.
Working on building an electric car. I've got the manager of a local auto repair shop very excited about helping.
Burlesque. This is just way too awesome to me.

"Pochos"- People of Mexican descent who are Americanized. See: "Mind of Mencia" on Comedy Central, hear George Lopez. Or my sig link.
Psychiatric disorders culture- I deeply admire people with mental illness who choose to take care of themselves, since I've seen what happens when they don't.
Northern Californian Natives- Spreading those "San Francisco Values" across this fine country, ha ha.

Re: What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
I'm an old skool raver chick....now I bang my head to the beats in legal venues instead of dirty old warehouses. I don't go out every weekend anymore, only for special occasions like WMC or a really good DJ coming to town. I don't really watch tv, I'm always listening to music, groovin to a new mix. Otherwise I'm looking after my crazy dog Pearl who requires a LOT of attention.

Re: What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
Drum'n'Bass is really the only other scene i'm involved in these days - i spend all the rest of my time working lol!

Re: What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
I LOVE GAY MEN, ESPECIALLY DRAG QUEENS! I think I am one trapped in a woman's body.
BDSM and fetish
Tattoos and tattoo artistry
Screenprinting/collage/painting - ANY visual arts really but particularly printmaking
Makeup art
I could download porn all day long if I had nothing else to do
Electronic beat-oriented music such as hip-hop and industrial
I guess I am sorta goth too but I just think of myself as an all around freak
I love learning about various facets of the occult and conspiracy theories, and reading in general
I am a LaVeyan Satanist which is more of lifestyle and philosophy than a religion - it's fun conversing with other Satanists though. We're an eclectic "group".
I'm obsessed with my cats...I love all animals actually, but Siamese cats fukkin rule!
I used to be into raves and club drugs like E and K but I think I used up too much seratonin so now I don't party anymore. Plus a lot of my friends from that time got arrested, OD'd or are dead now.
Hmmm...Paige and I share more than a couple...I knew she was kick-ass for a reason! LOL (j/k there are more reasons than that ;D )

Re: What other sub-cultures are you a part of?
Action Sports to the Nth degree. I run an online radio show dedicated to it since 2001. I personally ride sportbike freestyle, motocross, pwc freeride (prefer big surf), snowboard, and bmx. I skate a little but only for fun. 2002, MINIBIKES, WRECK *GRAPHIC*
HTML and Graphics. LATEST PROJECT I'm still learning.
Audio/Sound Design. Alot more than just beats anymore. Film score, ADR, Voice Over, Folley F/X. Audio editing, remixing, and remastering. Very special interest in analog machines: synthesizers, effects units, and drum machines. The studio is already up to 40k+ and I swear if I hit the lotto I will dump 300k into vintage analog synths and drum machines. Can't let go of my roots- Beats to bang the block!! RACK1, RACK2, RACK3 BEAST!, BAD BOYS
Video production. Just finished my first complete DVD. I filmed 95% of it. Directed, produced, scored, and mixed the entire project myself. I did all the compositing and about 90% of the graphics work (everything except the background collage on the box cover). DVD TRAILER RATED R *NWS*
The strip club industry! Haha seriously. Alot like Tart (and Rob & Sheri Moon Zombie) I love strip clubs. My girl feels the same way if not more so. I've been working as an emcee in clubs in Atlanta for around 17 years and Erin has been dancing for about 7. If I ever hit the lotto I'm sure we will be traveling to a town near you to get table dances.
