Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
I was just curious as to what guys like most, the au naturel look, just a little eyeshadow, or the whole she-bang? I personally go all out when I work. I kinda have the cat eyes, some blush, lipstick, and thick lashes. I mean in the SC lites it doesn't look extreme, but if I went to the grocery store with that, oy! Anyways, just wanted to know what you guys preferred.

It's all about context. Most guys love a pretty girl with no makeup at home, but in the strip club, ample makeup is necessary.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
most guys really have no clue how much makeup a girl is really wearing, so even though they think a girl looks naturally gorgeous with minimal makeup, she could be wearing a ton.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
^ exactly. I went through a period where I only wore foundation, poweder, pale blush, and clear lipgloss. My guy was talking on and on about how natural beauty is best, how proud he was to have a girl who wasn't "high maintenance"...and stopped dead when I pulled out a compact to touch up my foundation. I mean, the "natural look" can often take much longer then full porno glam...guys are dumb about makeup.
I think guys prefer that wide-eyed, clear complexioned look, so whatever it takes to get that. Foundation, powder, blush, maybe some mascara or a THIN line of eyeliner, and something to make the lips look shiny and full

Whatever it takes (from nothing to whatever) to have me say, "wow, what great skin!"
But don't put a lot of different colors on your face, like eye shadow, rouge, etc.

sooo true. people say "you're such a 'natural' beauty". ahahahaha.. FOOLS! i wear a shitload of makeup... it's all in how you slap it on, baby!
i think guys refer to the polar extremes:
1. mimi from the drew carrey show = wearing makeup (aka. clown) {bad}
2. giselle bundchen 'natural face' for VS = perceived not wearing makeup {good}
despite the fact they're both made up. i like listening to dudes recoiling in horror from girls on the street who aren't wearing any makeup. :O
hmmm...

Exactly. Straight guys are clueless about makeup, so do what you like.

Any amount, tastefully done.
Not so much I end up wearing it after the dance.
If I am a regular to a dancer, I appreciate her mixing things up a bit.
Different looks, different music, I like to feel special.
Change is good.
Just be tasteful.

I think it depends on the dancer. If you look good without make up you can get away with very little If you dont then some is probably nessesary. Some girls suit better more natural make up and some suit alot, not everyone will suit or pull of everything, and not everything will work for everyone but its fun to play around with different styles.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
i quit wearing makeup early on, since i worked mainlu at clubs where athletic stage rotations left makeup sweating off. guys were happy to see us sweat and it was just easier to not have to deal with reapplying makeup. the girls who weren't constantly touching up their makeup were overwhelmingly the ones consistently banking. so i went the makeupless route.
cannot say i would have done the same if i'd been working at a gown club, though. but then, my makeup wouldn't have been mussed in such environs.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
^^^ I sweat alot as well, that's why I have tested a slew of waterproof products, and of course removers. But I agree that a touchup is still neccesary, that's why it would take the jaws of life to part me from false eyelashes. A good thick pair can make you look like a "natural beauty", top those bad boys off with a MEAN eyebrow arch and I'm set. Besides, after work when I wipe off my eyeliner I can walk around and not look like I just stepped off the stage.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
Honestly inside most clubs the lighting is usually fairly dark and also fairly favorable to the dancers. As long as your makeup is done tastefully that's what is important.
Personally, I'm consider myself a naturalist, but honestly if a dancer is wearing some lipstick and a little foundation or blush I can't much tell. Only when a girl goes crazy with the eye liner or eye shadow is it really noticible to me.
One thing I will say is that around me with all the no-smoking bans, it has become a trend for the clubs to have out door areas or patios, which are really just places for dancers and customers to go and smoke. However, when some girls leave the dark favorable lighting of the club and get out in the light of day, what you see can be shocking. That's when the heavy makeup really becomes visible, and I'm personally not a big fan.

Enough make-up to look good under the lights but not look like you're wearing much at all.
Nix the sparkle eye shadow!

Agreed in general, though some of us can tell quite easily, especially if it's badly done or if the girl doesn't know her colors.
And I swear, despite the rumors, I'm straight. Really.

^^ i can vouch *ass slap* But the man is definitely a giver.
I have to admit, the first time a beautiful woman commandeered my bathroom, ...
There was just so much....stuff....
But then again, I learned a lot too. :D

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
Just be sure that your makeup doesn't end up on me or my clothes, and you can wear whatever makes you feel beautiful and sexy.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
I had two great nights recently and all I was wearing was some eyeshadow (and not even doing my full eye just the lid), blush (and that disappeared eventually) and lipstick. Serious.
Then again I am working in an environment where my face will be making contact with a multitude of other faces as I like to rub my cheek against a guy's cheek (even if he is a little prickly or has a beard).
One time I got the make up artist to do "natural" make up on me using make-up and it didn't work for me one bit.
Interesting is all I have to say. Two different nights.

Re: Poll: No makeup, some makeup, or the whole nine yards?
I have three issues
1. FUCKING GLITTER! Shit is in, on, over, around, and over anything for days on end. Is this fad done yet?
2. Perfumes that rub off. On me. Damn.
3. Make up that rubs of on my clothes. I.e. foundation in a white shirt.

I vote for "who cares - I just like looking at pretty girls".
The one thing that I hate is the over-sculpted (or worse, Sharpie) eyebrows.

It varies from guy to guy. I like the natural look, especially on a pretty girl...other times I'm in the mood for the 'goth' look (always a turn on).
