Here's a few of mine...
I posted some here:

But the majority of my work is signed with my real name so... um... yeah.
... more paintings....
... and even more... I need to like go buy some ultramarine so I can paint right now and have something to do!
Last one...
I like to draw and paint, but it's nothing like that!
Here's a cool site http://www.stripperart.com/
Your art really expresses the obscure reality that is the exotic dancing life... I like it alot!!!
For the longest time at this one club I wanted to do a series of portraits of dancers in certain poses mid-set live-action during work which showed their true nature... their vulnerability through the facade of glamor... (club owner didn't want me to take reference shots inside the club... bah!) and then more recently I have an itching to complete a series of still life works within the club environment consisting of ashtrays, mirrors, lights, chair legs, etc... anything that you would fixate on in boredom ... to stress the almost suffocating monotony of the nightlife scene when viewed daily... the whole concept of expressing clubs through artwork is just fascinating to me!
Well... I don't post much, but I thought I might as well share some of my pictures.
Currently I'm a Junior in college, going for a BFA in Ceramic Design. These pictures are from the Fall 2006 Semester. If you click on an image, there is some more info on that piece beneath the photo.

PS. I just realized, you have to *click* on the picture above... it takes you to the photo album! :D
I hope you like them!! 8)

Eh, I got a degree in Art & Design, but it did me very little good. Of course, they weren't into representational art at all, and that's all I wanted to do, lol--a recipe for disaster.
I circumvented the disaster by carefully arranging my courses so that I wound up taking far more Art History and Ancient History courses than Studio Art.
WEEZO, you have a clearly superlative flair for composition, that is immediately obvious. Well done!
I don't have a digital camera yet, and all my paintings and drawings are in Daytona, but I will do what I can to contribute to this most excellent thread.

All three of these sketches are of GRETA GARBO one of my favorite actresses of Hollywood's Golden Age...I also thought she was such a knockout on screen.
The other of course is BETTY GRABLE in Hugh Hefner's favorite image of her....hmm wonder why Hef;)
These are not as grand as the paintings here but I posted them anyway
Not to be OT, but see... now that's what a sex symbol used to look like... soft womanly curves... what happened? I mean I guess there's Salma Hayek and Scarlet Johanessen... but I bet in their early days they had to put up with alot of ridicule.
Thank you! ;)
I love the expression on the face of the person laying on the couch... I envy your talent! Being able to clearly define a space in perspective without using hard edges or strokes is way above my head :O Oh, and I love the feeling you portray in the pieces with the chairs in them... very strong!
Thanks... They are a duo... the first from side stage at an abandoned children's hospital... entitled "Melancholy" and the second... a close up on who could possibly sit there... "Introspect"
ItalianBeauty, I like the "Extruded Series #1" as well, especially the way it looks in that niche on top of the stairway. #6 is interesting as well--I would love to see it up close, even if the pictures are very good.
You certainly know how to use a lot of different materials and media together! I took one ceramics class in college and only used one kind of glazing technique, and only on a couple of pieces.
Is the cast aluminum hard to work with? That looks quite interesting. What is the original sculpture made from? Some sort of 'lost wax' technique?
And Sultry Siren, you need to get those drawings out of that notebook, and get them matted and framed--especially that second one, which is quite beautiful.
Thanks so much! ;D #1 was designed specifically for that spot, thats why its more "2D" than the others... and #6 is a work in progress. Its basically a trial run. The "final piece" will look the same, but without the ugly black epoxy seams holding the pieces togther. Also, I am making a set of snake-head "teacups" to go with it. It is a teapot actually, the tail is the handle and the necks are the spouts. I cut openings at the top for the "lid" aspect. I will take pictures closer if you'd like!
Did you like your ceramics class? Most of my surface finishes on the pieces range from powdered oxides with react with the clay body itself, to glazes which have an infinite number of outcomes. Most glazes used were mixed by me, except the colors in the mask piece.
The aluminum casting can be done in wax, but I was in the intro class so we used styrofoam. Basically it does the same thing as wax when it comes to the pouring itself. The aluminum piece is just a "replica" of the piece in styrofoam... you pack a sand-resin mixture around the styrofoam, with appropriate vents and spout, let it harden... and pour the liquid metal in! When it cools, you break open the sand mold and find your sculpture. The styrofoam vaporizing is what left the rainbow flashing on the final product. I loved it, there was no work after the pour, only to cut off the sprue and vents... no polishing or sanding!
I agree with Djoser... Sultry Siren you have awesome talent!! ;)
Ok I have decided to go ahead and post some urls, despite the signature.....

Each image can be clicked on for the full sized view. These are the ones I liked best from the past 3 months. I have about 650 total pieces up on the net.
^^^ I can't even begin to imagine what it takes to create something like this! All I can say is you certainly have a lot of talent... Even though they were created the same way, I love how different each one is. Awesome work!
my favs are "Spectral Possession", and the jellyfish-like guys... it's like it sparks something in my brain that I don't understand, but produces such a concise emotion....
Watercolors are my current fav although I like inks almost as much.
