bribbed OTC
I don't do OTC. I have ONCE - it was a lunch with a long time regular and it was lame. I was totally bored and pissed with myself for doing it. I kept it from my boyfriend and just did not like the whole experience.
Fast forward a year - this new regular (comes in once or twice a week, spends about 80 bucks a visit) is way putting the pressure on, asks me out all the time and emails me all the time. Then yesterday he whips out this $50 Fredericks card and says he wants me to buy a new outfit for myself, BUT the catch is he has to go with me. ::) So I don't know. I agreed. I just don't like it cause I don't want to it lead anywhere else. I guess I'll just be real clear about what it means. It's not really a big deal, just kind of annoying.
Anyway, just wanted to hear any thoughts.

Re: bribbed OTC
Honest opinion? $80- $160 a week and a $50 shopping trip isnt anywhere near worth the trouble. Maybe if you were making $500-$1000 or more a week off the guy AND the shopping trip was unlimited or at least close to the weekly tally...then MAYBE....and I'd take a girlfriend with me even then(and yes, he'd have to buy stuff for her too...). But thats just my opinion

Re: bribbed OTC
He'll keep coming up with more and more enticements with an eye to having you service him. Up to you, of course, if this is a direction you wish to head. But the path is pretty obvious given the pressure he's applying. And, either way, you'll loose him as a regular in your club.

Re: bribbed OTC
I agree with Cameronfl...the kind of money you're talking about isn't worth the hassle. The only time I go out with customers for shopping trips is if I have an unlimited budget and can bring a friend along. But $50? Yeesh, can you even *get* anything for that? The last shopping trip I went on was actually with my one of my best friend's regulars, and he not only spent $600 on us at VS, but gave us an extra hundred for our "time", which was only about 45 minutes. Prior to that it was with a really big spender of mine, me and another girlfriend, and he dropped over a grand on us and took us out to lunch. (my new Coach bag alone was $300+) That one was great because he just sat in a bar drinking while we went shopping. But for $50? Meh...I would pass. Guess I'm just greedy.

Re: bribbed OTC
$50 isn't even enough to buy anything. And for your time and energy, he's paying you minimum wage! Forget it-
Why bother for that little amount?

Re: bribbed OTC
if you already know you don't really feel good about it, just don't go! call him or email him or whatever and make up some excuse. unfortunately we have to deal with the offers, they are as much a part of the job as the money...

Re: bribbed OTC
Like the other girls said, 50 bucks at Freddy's? He's just giving you an excuse to get OTC with him. And seriously, any guy who puts THAT much pressure on you to meet him....once you give in...well hun he just got his foot in the door as far as he is concerned, you think you felt pressure before????
If you really want to go, bring a friend, and DO NOT flirt with this guy. But my advice would be to not go at all.....you're going to lose that little bit (read it again) of money that he does spend in there and give him the signal that you are caving to his persistant begging...

Re: bribbed OTC
That's all what wanted to hear. I thought it was pretty cheap, but then I thought - eh, why not - it's still 50$, but you're all totally right, especially thinking of it as minimum wage for all the time it would take!
Bleh, screw it, I'll email him now - my time should be worth more. Thanks ladies, exactly what I wanted to hear.

Re: bribbed OTC
At our club I think the only shopping trip I would take out of there would be to pioneer place... there's a vicky's secret, a coach, LV, and others good stores, not to mention mall security and multiple exits! And yeah, $50... that's what, 2 songs and a tip!
(I never run into you! Hopefully one of these days I'll catch you leave the dressing room... :))

Re: bribbed OTC
A $50 gift trip where he'd want you to model the lingerie? That is just insulting!
Ugh, I hate the ones who drop 60-80 bucks when they see you (and you have to talk to them a lot before that) and then act like they're the shit and you should start meeting them OTC. Get a clue, dude! Anyone know a good way to get them to up the price?

Re: bribbed OTC
I have random customers who like me that aren't huge spenders that I have had lunch with. You really have to play it by ear. If he spends $80-$160 a week REGULARLY and wants to take you to Fredericks, go. If he pushes for more and stops coming in the club, cut him off, you've lost him anyway at that point.
In most clubs I book at, about 1/3 of my customers per weekly booking are guys that come to see me once a month or every other month when I do my once a month weekly bookings. And they spend $80-$160 as well. Those guys add up. If I make $2000 for the week, $600-$700 comes from those types so they really add up. And some of these guys have been seeing me for a year or 2.
5-6 guys who come in to see you and buy 4-5 dances per trip a lot of times make the difference in a top earner at a small to medium size club, and a mediocre earner.

Re: bribbed OTC
^ see that's the thing I was struggling with. It isn't huge money, but it's crazy consistent, I mean $160 a week, every week, for 4 months now. But, I already emailed him and let him no I'm not into it.
> And anomar, there really are "gentlemen" in our club during the day ;D , it's not the total ghetto that it sometimes turns into on a Sat. night ;) He is definately not creepy in any way (except the married man wanting to f**k a stripper part), he's nice, smart, good looking etc. etc. Me and you do need to bump into each other soon though.

Re: bribbed OTC
If the current system works, why change it? You're getting money from him inside the club so why put that effort into an OTC relationship when it's not worth the compensation due to the hassle?
I think it opens season in a different league.
If you say no he has choices: continue wth current system, up the ante, or stop seeing you.
You can only win by saying no.

Re: bribbed OTC
LOL! A whopping $80 per visit and a $50 Frederick's trip??? No fucken way. NOT worth the headache and bullshit that you KNOW will follow. It sounds to me like you're already spending way too much time on this dude as it is. Emails ALL the time? For $80 a visit? Sheeeit, $80 wouldn't get me to even consider giving him my email address, much less reply to his messages. Hell no.
It doesn't matter if he's paying that $80 every DAY. It's not enough. How much time do you spend on this fuckstick for that $80? Keep it in perspective girl.
Agreed with short skirts above also. You might lose by saying no, but you might win. You will ONLY lose if you say yes.
