I love Spotify. Needed something to put someone off from talking to me, and, as usual, it delivered.

Like the song, too, although I don’t really care for the occult motif.

”From the land beyond the forest Nosophoros befalls
It will come in black and as the third sailing on a phantom ship
Tolling bells summon us sinners to repent as the Day of Wrath is here
The dreadful lord of the rats walks among us and greets us with a smile
Taking us all by the hand we join his dance as patches on our skin grow black
Scourge devouring the faithless lands
Vanity lashed out of blistering coil
Hope redeemed yet through blood
Still despair triumphs thru the divine
Our strength quickly fading away by every strained breath
Suddenly like a wind it passed above our heads and we're no more
Downtrodden we died for our sins we had to pay”

Getting amped up to go watch Lords of Chaos tonight. Apparently, Attila Csihar's son will be playing him in the film, but I don't really expect that to be a particularly huge role, since Attila's role until rejoining Mayhem in 2004 was basically to be a session vocalist for the De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas album. I also find it interesting, since Mayhem collectively railed against the movie, that he would've been okay with this.

Avenged Sevenfold's "Waking The Fallen" album, and Atreyu's first three albums.
Some nostalgia from when I was 12/13 years old.

They were big in the 60's. That was a Vietnam War protest song. Doing protests seemed to enhance commercial success.
