homemade tendskin
What you need:
Uncoated aspirin
70% alcohol
Witch Hazel
A measuring cup/bottle
2 bottles used to shake mixtures
1 8oz or more bottle/container to keep finished product
What you do:
1. Pour 5.5oz of 70% alcohol into one bottle.
2. Drop 18 uncoated aspirins into the alcohol. Cap bottle and shake.
3. Pour 2.5oz of witch hazel into the second bottle.
4. Drop 8 uncoated aspirins into the witch hazel. Cap bottle and shake.
5. Wait awhile (30 minutes to a whole day) for the aspirins to dissolve in the liquids. Shake periodically to help dissolve aspirin and mix. NOTE: not all of the aspirin will dissolve. That’s ok- some of it never will.
6. Now combine both the alcohol and witch hazel mixtures together into one bottle. Make sure you shake it up before you pour them out so you also get the aspirin residue into the new bottle.
This last bottle is your Tendskin! Use 1-2 a day. Reduce usage if you experience dryness or flaking or irritation. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO ASPIRIN. Make sure you shake it well before each use.

After I had my baby I had stretch marks all around my hips and back. I used CoCoa & Shea Butter Lotion along with black soap which is pure Shea Butter(smells great) for a year and they not only lightened up, but mostly disappeared. They were still there, but only my husband could get that close to see them.

use Aloe-Vera. works like a charm!
I heard alot of stories about alot of things that could help with stretch marks. did anyone ever try mixing olive oil,cod liver oil, vitamin E oil with aloe vera and rubbing it on where the marks are? im still trying it and so far its been okay. my marks are fading. you could also try these other home remedies:
-A bit of Apple Cider Vinegar in the bath.
-*Rub coconut oil and leave it on over night.
-*It is believed that smearing the area with egg white and letting it dry before washing off with ice cold water regularly can help in getting rid of stretch marks completely.
*Castor oil, heating pad and plastic rap. First Rub plenty, and I mean plenty of Castor oil on the place that you have the stretch marks. Then place the plastic rap over marks and then heating pad on.
Try these and let me know how it goes. =)
was a playboy model before I became pregnant with my now 1 year old son. I developed stretch marks postpartum and researched what to do about them. They developed on my lower stomach mainly. They were reddish purple. I had laser therapy to get rid of the red color. The laser therapy did work for that and made them a lot less noticeable. I could finally relax about them. Also, I was told to use Retina A and that would reduce them about 30%. I did that and they did get way better! The laser therapy cost about $400., with 2 treatments. The Retina A only cost about $7.00 with my insurance. Now, having lost nearly all the pregnancy weight, I am checking these suckers out again and with the right light, I do notice them again. My skin where the stretch marks were prominent is slightly striated (indented lines). I want to get microdermabrasion from what I have read about, but scared it will make them worse. They are not noticeable in most lights, but when sunlight is coming in from only one angle, you can see them. Good luck to all you out there with stretch marks, they really only are annoying when you are thinking about them. When my mind is not thinking about them, they don’t bug me at all and I even feel beautiful again!!!!! Lol Quinners
1. soft skin-
Beauty tip. In the shower pour corn meal on a wet washcloth and after you have taken your shower as a finish, rub the corn meal all over your body for silky smooth skin.
2. getting the red out of pimples-
As visine "gets the red out" of eyes, it also works great on your big red pimples
3. Brighter eyes-
Another tip for beautiful eyes is to soak witch hazel in two cotton balls and leave them on your eyes for about five minutes, and they'll make your eyes brighter (it works really well, too!)
4. Healthy soft skin-
For healthy soft looking skin mix 1 egg, some lemon juice, olive oil, and water and wipe it on your face after about 10 minutes wipe it off and wash your face with cold water and soap
5. Pimples-
Put diaper rash cream on blemishes and watch them go!~
6. Super sof skin-
Mix half a cup salt and half a cup vegetable oil. Stir and rub into skin. The salt exfoliates the dead skin cells and the oil makes it soft
7. Get rid of a cold sore-
Use hemorrhoid cream to reduce a cold sore! It works! (use externally only)
8. Oily skin-
I've heard that a rose petal can take off oil instead of those expensive oil absorbing sheets and i have to say that it really works for me and some of my friends also you can use perm papers
9. Homemade clay mask-
You can use 100% pure clay kitty litter to make a mud mask. Kitty litter (which is actually just all natural clay) is the same ingredient they use in spas. You simply blend the kitty litter into a powder then add small amounts of water until it forms a nice paste. Apply and leave on for about 20 minutes or until dry. I have done this with my friends many times and it leaves your skin feeling smooth and fresh
10. Natural looking tan with coffee grounds-
Spread moist coffee grounds on your face for a natural looking tan, leave on for about 20 min. then rinse, tan will last for about 3 days
11. Darkened acne scar removal-
To remove darkened acne scars, use a mixture of turmeric in coconut oil on the affected parts. Effect of this can be seen within a week or two
12. Stretch marks-
Rub Premium olive oil over stretch marks after every shower and watch them disappear
13. Rough elbows-
If you have rough elbows and knees, just take half a lemon and rub the lemon into your elbows/knees, it takes away the old skin and cleanses, leaving your usual rough spots smooth.
14. Itchiness/soreness/discharge around vaginal areal-
To relieve any itchiness, soreness or discharge around the vaginal area, mix some baking soda in a bowl of warm water and wash out the area. Rinse with warm water and apply fresh, clean underwear (preferably cotton).
15. Makeup remover-
put small amount of baby oil on the cotton. Then I wipe it on my eyes. All the make up will come out easily
16. Clear up pimples-
This isn't really homemade but I found that when I whisked a cottonball with some Witch Hazel on it over my pimples it helped clear them up visibly in about three(3)days. This definitely works.
17. Sea salt bath for impurities-
You should have a section that gives information about sea salt and using it in a bath. I hope you don't already, (I didn't get to search your whole site). Anyway, It is wonderful pouring a cup or so of sea salt into a hot bath. It's quite soothing and it "sucks out" skin impurities. It is in most cases very inexpensive.
18. Rashes-
There is a quick fix for rashes (also your baby's diaper rash). For the rash that's burning and irritating, you take flour of your desired amount, and place it in a pot on the stove. Let the flour "burn" to a light or brownish color. When it is done "burning," take the burned flour and sprinkle it over the rash. Let the flour sit as long as possible on the rash. For baby's diaper rashes, let it sit in your baby's diaper until the changing time.
19. Lushious lashes-
As soon as you get out of the shower, right away go to the fridge, get an ice cube and use it like mascara on your eye lashes. That way, you'll get that luscious look in your eye lashes but it'll look natural (well, it is!).
20. Instant tan-
for a instand tan-mix powder bronzer the loose kind and baby oil and apply to body
I'm sure you have some really helpful tips, but most of it is kind of hard to read.
You could edit your posts and give your tips titles and number them, that would be easier to read.
Well I don't have a long list or anything but sugar, olive oil, and tomato makes my skin smooth and glowy. I also mix sugar with aloe gel and almond oil....works really good and it's a lot cheaper then regular scrubs because you can get a lot more for a lot less...
and I also clean my skin in the steam room at my gym and put on a deep ceasing mask after...almost like a facial.
The instant tan sounds a little messy....wouldn't that rub off on everything?
um, this is sounds like a yeast infection, which needs more than just baking soda to get rid of!
"although it might seem logical to relieve itching with baking soda, DON'T try it. it will just raise the pH of your vagina, make the yeast happier, and make you unhappier (see causes)."

I used to chop them up and mix them with the olive oil and sugar..and eventually the tomato would kinda break up and blend but now I put it in the blender and then mix everything
I figured it would make it more beneficial since I wouldn't just be rubbing chunks of tomato on my skin....
As a makeup primer, use Monistat anti chafing gel. It's got almost the exact ingredients as the Smashbox primer, but way cheaper.
