what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
It gets tossed around all the time ITC, both by girls and custies, i.e. "she gives really hot dances." So what do you think actually qualifies a dance as "hot"? Grinding? Intensity? Eye contact? Teasing? Certain moves? Some vague je ne sais quoi that you can't define, but you just know it when you see it? Contact level? Dirty talk? Slow and sensual movements? A dancer that just appears to be really into it?
What do you think sets certain dancers apart when it comes down to actually giving dances? Assuming a fairly level playing field in terms of looks, and assuming that no one's doing obviously unpleasant things like giving an LD at warp speed or bouncing on a guy's dick like a jackhammer...what makes some dancers' LDs better than others? What sets a HOT lapdance apart from an average one?
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
i think slow and sensual, with a "buildup" would be the hottest dance. start out slow and just tease more and more, eventually getting into it.... making it feel like the dance will soon 'climax'. eye contact is very important too. that is what keeps them coming back for more. the dance must feel personal, as well as exciting.
but this is a good question for the guys to answer, i am curious about their views. :)
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
^^^My idea of a hot lapdance is the climax as well, the suspense should kill them, lol. But I often dance for guys that want a hard grind....it may be because I have a phat ass, but I would love to find another style that would be just as satisfying as "humping" lol. Eye contact works wonders, but no one has suggested any specific moves outside of the obvious.
I'm curious as well.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
taking it slow, grinding, eye contact, 'scratching' the back of neck/ears with nails, standing above him, turning around while standing, from that position easing into grinding with yr legs wrapped around him and hands on the floor, etc...This stuff is probably against the rules in a lot of places, but I don't mind because a) I work for "The Hot Lapdance Club and b)hardly anyone buys just one ;-)
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
Eye contact, slow sensual movements, knowing the right poses for your body to maximise hotness, nails up the back of neck, creating a feeling of intimacy without being overly sexual - I'm not into the whole sticking pussy near the face and overtly sexual things like that. i think it's way hotter to for eg spread legs with hand in the way of pussy etc.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
Transition, Transition, Transition. The dancer that can go from standing up on the couch to on your lap to on her knees without any stumbles or akward pauses. Fluid motion.
Also the one who knows how to block the crowd with her hair making it look like something dirty is going on and she is actually just playing with a button on your shirt while staring into your eyes. That's hot.

Oh, that's HOT. I am SO doing that when I start tomorrow night.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
Now WHY do you think I'm rabid about keeping my hair so long ???
I throw my hair over so that it kind of falls like a curtain with my face (nose) against his face (nose). I stay there for less than a minute before trailing my hair down his face and his body (as I'm moving down his body).
It is all in the eyes, the way I move and the way I touch you! Plus the way I smell. I make my dances sensual ... as in you are using your senses to be turned on over sexual generally.
Tho' I have done some 'rough' lap dances and they have been HOT (because that is what worked) whilst also doing overtly sexual ones (lots of leg spreading etc) because that is what worked for that particular customer.
It is all about trying to read the customer as not every customer wants erotic/sensual. Some may want something a little rough. Some may want more 'pussy' thus something more sexual and so forth.
What makes a dance HOT in the end is purely and utterly subjective.

*Scribbles notes*
My eyes are my best feature, I think, so I'm definitely going to try that. As far as I was told, the club allows the type of contact that would let me do the "hair trick", so I should be golden. I can't wait until tomorrow night!
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
from my personal experience, i do not even need to touch a custy purely because i use my eyes and get real close and breath in their ears. works everytime! :D
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
An interesting variant of this question for dancers to consider: How do you keep the dances hot for customers who have known you for 5+ years? You can be sure that by that point they are coming to see you more out of friendship than lust, as by that point they have experienced all of your best moves multiple times. You obviously want to deal with them in a completely different manner than you deal with the average customer who is a complete stranger to you.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
In my case I've been using the same set of moves for a very long time, but only recently have I been at a level where I feel that my dances are extremely hot. I feel this way because of the reactions I get, and frankly, I think it's just a matter of experience and the fact that I love my job. Turning men on turns me on, and that makes for a good experience for the man.
I also love fucking with them, joking about whatever, and making it suggestive and occasionally letting a very dirty thought slip out. They think I'm so sweet looking that I'd never say the wild things that come out of my mouth. As long as they think it's special just for them it all goes very well.
I'm having trouble typing due to exhaustion and a buzz, so I'm out.........(today was my bday and I shopped and got my nails done, went to dinner with my hubby, and all sorts of exciting things......very very good day.:)
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
^^ Happy Birthday, Andygirl! :)
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
Eye contact is good. So's physical, cheek to cheek contact. I like the dancer to lean on me a little, but not with all her weight, when she's dancing, but only at a place where contact is allowed.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
for regulars ive had awhile, i'v found that spicing things up with a different outfit, or even attitude, can really turn them on. i usually rock the school girl look, but yesterday i pulled out this sexy little black bondage outfit and my customer loved it. it has lots of locks and zippers, and he really enjoyed getting to unlock and unzip me. i think he was also turned on by the fact that i wasnt going to let things get boring or too routine with us. so yeah. theres only so many things you can do in a lap dance, especially with regulars youve had for awhile--you just have to be able to give them a little twist.

Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
What makes a lap dance "hot" depends on a number of factors - I'd have to say (from the male side of the fence) that some form of chemistry between you is an important factor.
OK, dancers do what they do to earn, but most dancers have an exhibisionistic streak to some degree of other, and the thought that the dancer is enjoying herself for personal (as well as professional) reasons does things to the male psyche.

That's it. Exactly.

Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
I think what makes one hot, aside from the basics(like eye contact and looking like you enjoy yourself, etc.) is really dependent on the guy. some guys will think a hard grind is really hot (i hate those guys), and some will love a sensual teasing one. The key is being able to figure out which guys want what.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
Slow, sensuous moves and lots of eye contact. Alot of girls at my club immediately start the dance off by grinding the guys nuts into a pulp. They seldom get repeat dances. It's funny how dancers look at me like I'm crazy when 30 sec into the song I'm not even out of my dress, let alone have alowed any touching/grinding yet when the song is over, I'm the one getting repeat dances while the guy they just helped get off is now done w/ spending $$$.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
I've found that when I focus (instead of spacing out) and make a lot of eye contact, breathe by their ear a bit, play with their hair, and smile, I tend to get more in a row.
Re: what do you think makes an LD "hot"?
Like all good acting, I think it comes down to "being in the moment." If the custy gets the sense the dancer is painting-by-numbers, phoning it in, working on auto-pilot, what have you, it instantly wrecks the illusion that she is enjoying herself with him. Physical tricks aside, it's that illusion of real connection during the LD that creates the psychological appeal of the whole dysfunctional excercise.
