Big Belly- ugggg
I got out of the business for several years to attend school. Now, I need to get back to dancing again (loans) and needless to say I am in less than stellar shape.
I am eating clean and working out regularly. All body parts are reducing in size and are toning up except for my stomach. I have this big ol' gut I can't get rid of and I am freaking out. Any suggestions or methods? Help!

Cardio! pump it up, raise your heart rate, sweat a little and that's how you'll lose it :)

I've had that same problem but I've been doing cardio. I've recently decided that I MUST be more selective when eating sugary stuff (I type right after I just ate 7 peeps!) and I also need to work on my 'core' muscles in addition to my regular cardio. I imagine that will help me get rid of my belly flab......although I haven't stuck with it yet ....it's a work in progress!

CARDIO CARDIO CARDIO......
Have you tried HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)??
This kind of cardio training is kind of a peak and valley thing. You go all out at maximum output for 2 minutes...slower pace but still working for 2 minutes then back up again...the goal is to keep increasing intensity and forcing your body to respond cardiovascularly, muscle response, lung capacity, and as such your fat burning now goes beyond your cardio session. You've revved your body so high during the HIIT session that it forces your body to still use fat fuel.
I also HIGHLY suggest the book The ABSolution--Shawn Phillips!!! That book is full of common sense solutions and he is the man that got me on the HIIT bandwagon. The book has meal/suppliment ideas, excercises to aid in achieving a 6 pack and there is also an online support forum for those who wish to use it.
I'm trying to get rid of my baby belly here and get back into lowriders...so I understand your frustration and impatience!!!

tells you what to eat, when to eat, what cardio and what weight training to do.

stop eating at least 3 hours before you go to sleep. it will really really help!!
