i'm too cheap to join the gym because it's such a small area and the prices are outragious. so other than walking and using some home work out videos what else can i do? hopefully i can get some great answers as i normally do.

Get some ankle weights and do some lunges with your stripper shoes on - great for the thighs and hamstrings and hiney!!
I bought a Gazelle for a low-impact alternative to jogging (since my hurt knee can't take it), and I've had great results with it so far. Oh, I paid right under $100 for it...not too bad for a small piece of gym-like equipment.
I also have some Tae-Bo, yoga, and pilates videos (don't know which you might have).
Those big yoga balls (I got mine at Wal-Mart for about $10) are great for ab workouts and the like...different things work different muscles, but I concentrate on abs.
Uh...past that we've got the male's side of the workout equipment (weight bench, free weights, punching bag and speed bag), but those probably don't interest you so much.
Housework is a great exercise - vacuuming, dusting etc. Anything that gets you moving around and active is a great way to keep yourself looking good on a budget.
There are workouts you can print out from the web. I have a few I printed out years ago that I do from time to time.
Plus dancing in and of itself (not stripping, just dancing around to your favourite songs) is great.
Then there is Hooping - www.hooping.org / http://www.jessienewburn.typepad.com/hoop_groove/
do you have cable? i have comcast, and on on demand they have tons of exercise programs for free. they have anything.. strength training, cardio, yoga.. thats what i do :)
i don't have one, but a friend of mine has lost over 100 pounds in about a year using a gazelle, so i'm thinking they're pretty awesome for workout equipment
i'm not such a big fan of actually working out, so i just try to make everything i do a little more physical - depending on the weather, i will NOT take transit for anything that's less than a half hour walk, less than 10 stories and i take the stairs, and i go out dancing at least once a week with the boy...and when i dance, i dance (i loves me some hard, heavy industrial music)...
i've been pretty lazy lately, but just those little changes added up to about 20 pounds gone in 4 months...
Sorry to contradict, but this is a bad idea. Ankle weights are not intended to be used for dynamic exercises and wearing stripper heels while doing lunges can only serve to throw on off balance while performing a complicated move.
I second the idea of using Comcast's workouts. I have before and I think they're fab.
As for exercises to do at home, try a few body-weight exercises to start. will give you a jumping off point.
And don't forget cardio. If you're trying to tone up, ACSM reccommends 60 minutes, 3-5 tmes a week. Make sure to warm up, do dynamic stretches, perform cardio, cooldown, then perform static stretches. It's a bit of a pain, but you'll feel better in the long run.
I just watched The Biggest Loser (Aussie Version) on tv. The blue team's trainer Shannon had them do a whole work-out session with absolutely NO gym equipment.
The one thing I took away from that episode was how they used a carton of water bottles and two Green bags (see picture below to know what I'm speaking about) with the water bottles as weights.
The trainer had them do bicep curls and what-not as well as just holding them whilst they were walking and/or jogging around the room.

He also had them doing sit ups, push ups and other similiar exercises that don't require anything except yourself and some time and a space to do them within......
How about some walking, possibly with hand weights?
Jump rope! :D
