Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
This is a question for the girls who have worked during a male dance review night. How much do you think it affected your business? How much less money did you and the other girls make?
What is the element of male dancer night that makes guys not want to go in the club?
I am trying to get into the head of the straight male in order to find out what makes him go to the club he goes to.
Re: Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
The club should run one or the other, not both. See my thread on this subject here.
If the club is going to do a ladies night, I say do it all night long. Don't go half and half or have female dancers in day shift and male dancers on night shift or something. Another way to do this would be to have separate rooms like at Olympic Gardens in Las Vegas.
Re: Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
I whole-heartidly (sp?) agree with Paris.
Do one or the other on a given night and keep doing it on that night.
Like.. have the male dancers on Monday nights or something EVERY WEEK
I also agree the Olympic Gardens had a great set up. I preferred the female dancers granted as I just thought it totally utterly weird to see male strippers not in a "Manpower" type of way. Yet it gave me that freedom to be able to wander from one strip club to the next (as the male strip club was "upstairs").
Re: Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
They shouldnt have male dancers at our clubs. If they want a male revue show then have it at their own venue.
I could never see customers willing to come in knowing there will also be male dancers.
Re: Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
Wait, I thought your club was MALE and FEMALE dancers? Why are you asking about male dancer night when the club at 508 Bourbon St. is Unisex?
:confused::confused::confused:

MY everlasting hunger for knowledge...
Re: Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
The club I work at has the VIP area divided into 2 rooms. The second room (Platinum room) is used for the male revue nights. During the male revue, it is completely separate, meaning they run their own music and lights from controls inside that room and there is a separate stage in there. The rest of the time, it is used as a VIP area, or if the club gets really busy on weekends, they open up the stage back there. It works out great for the club during the rest of the week, and on male revue nights, it's blocked off enough that it doesn't interfere with what's going on in the rest of the club.
Re: Opinions On Male Dancer Night.
I worked at a club where once a month they'd rotate male and female dancers. It was the worst idea ever!! Men would walk in, see a man on stage and run out the door lol!
