"Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
During the course of a PM with another member, I referred to "fire and forget" customers as those who go for the moment and avoid dancer entanglements like the plague and are more into the buffet as opposed to the entree. Got me to wondering. Clearly I am an entree kind of guy :P and prefer to hone in on one dancer at a time and see how things go. How do you view yourself?

Fire and Forget. I prefer the buffet approach. I only buy 2 to 4 PDs from a dancer and move on.

Definitely F & F.
Been thru WAY too much drama with ATF's in the past, so I swore to never do the ATF thing again.
Keep the variety, and keep 'em coming, I say!! ;D

Fire and forget, unless I find a dancer who's going 'above and beyond', then I'll stick with her until the money runs out.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
I've tried both ways and the long term entanglement seems to work best for me.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
I always go for the combo platter. I have a choice of three entrees depending on my mood but I like to liven up my plate with a few sides.

Used to be an F and F'er til I got the bright idea to be a Vegas regular for a year. Pushing into year 3 right now and despite my insistance to the ATF that I would be cutting back and phasing out of the whole thing, here I sit in mid March having returned from my 3rd trip this year. I swear I'm only going 2 or 3 more times this year.:-\ Has anyone seen the "epiphany stick" laying around? I could use a good clubbing about the head and neck.

dancer entanglement free? is that even possible? seriously, i enjoy a buffet, but having a rotation of girls isn't headache free. you know, players all want playing time. frankly, i think if any customer sees a stripper (or strippers) over a period of time. eventually, he will get dragged into her shit to some degree. if he's into that sort of thing...great. if not..well, it's not so great.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Fire and Forget. The no entanglement, variety and freedom to come and go always seemed like major draw to me.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
I'm definitely an entree kind of guy. But after I've been to the same restaurant for about a year or so, I usually am ready to try something new from the menu, and that will become my new "usual"
This can cause a moment of guilt when you see the old entree as you peruse the menu, but such is life :)

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
I'm generally looking for something longer-term, as it's more stimulating than just grabbing random chicks that usually fail to satisfy. That said, it's tougher to find those longer-term girls...maybe I'm just increasingly jaded.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Long-term.. the fire and forget type stuff just isn't satisfying. It's nice to be welcomed by name when I come in the club, get an immediate hug and catch up on things.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Long term. A tasty entree is worth savoring as long as it lasts. Unfortunately, they are rarely long lived. So far I've found dancers always have something happening in their lives that keeps a long term entanglement unlikely. So, call me multiple course.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Long term, but with an unusual twist.
Met several dancers about 5 years back now, and going to see them regularly gradually changed into friendship and seeing them socially.
I guess I've gradually become an 'honourary dancer' to a lot of the girls, cos if I pop into a venue to pick up any of the girls I'm friendly with, I get treated by the other dancers as a safe person to chat to and get treated to all the lastest gossip/rants without bring a focus for their professional attentions.
I've found this has a curiously de-eroticising effect (it's a bit like finding out how a conjurer does their tricks) and find I'm now very blasse about nudity.
I sometimes take one of the girls I know to places that put on monthly lap dance events, etc, and generally just park myself in the changing room and chat. It's a strange experience in that after a short time you begin to ignore the nudity. Similar thing from the girls - it's a case of 'out there, I'll be Susie the stripper, but in here I'll just sit on this chair and chat away to you about my studies/boyfriend/holiday while I change into my next costume'.
Phil.

CO is right on target. The "increasingly jaded" part definitely messes with my head when on scouting missions. The dancers that I've gotten to know well are all just awesome company, but it seems to be getting harder and harder to find new girls that are worth the time, effort, and $$$ to try and get to know better.
This might also be an age & experience thing. I know several dancers over 30, and I find them far smarter, friendlier, and usually sexier than their young stripperlet colleagues. Older dancers are easier to get to know, they understand better why I'm there, they are more appreciative of my business, they know how to please me, and they remember me when I return to see them the next time. All pretty strong motivators for the long-term preference.

Depends on my mood. Too much of one leads me to yearn for the other.
The number two (who might as well be my number one considering she's outearning the ATF) really knows how to bring out the freak in me. Of course, even as I sing her praises, I'm planning some F&F action out of town this coming Saturday.
Truth be told, I'm getting a bit jaded myself.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
I guess I'd say I'm a "fire and forget" kinda customer, the only caveat being that I do pretty much stick with the same rotation of girls who have proven their dependability over the course of time. There's always room in the rotation for an up and comer though;).

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
If I go to a club and a dancer I like is working, I wll always get dances from her. By like, I mean she has to have given good dances and been good company, not simply attractive. Those, I just fire and forget.........

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Combination plate, a few entrees and a few sides. If one isn't working that night, no problem. That being said, keeping in contact with a few faves out of town is great!

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
You might say I never fire the truly great ones (who keep performing well). If I gave out a "Dancer of the Year" award to the dancer who separated me from the most money each year, the same dancer would have won 14 straight years (from '82 through '95 inclusive). But, of course, they eventually retire or move away.
But I'm a long way from being a monogamous PL. In 2006 I lapped with 115 different dancers (as the Rain Man of PLs I keep track), but one dancer sold me 43% of the laps I bought.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
If I find a dancer who is especially pleasant, I certainly will seek her out the next time I'm in the same club. However, out here in the West, most dancers don't seem to stay at the same club for more than a few months. So, when my fave has moved on, I sample dancers until I find another one who is fun.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
FBR:
I don't know if I can fall into either category. I mean, I am definitely not a fire and forget guy. Because if I go out, meet a nice dancer, have a positive experience, I want to repeat that experience. I usually want to repeat it a lot more than is healthy, so I have to reign in myself and just repeat it semi-regularly, just to maintain the needed level of distance and detachment. However, while I have had and (hopefully) will have ATFs, I don't view myself as being a regular. I do not attend the club with any type of regular schedule...for example, I haven't seen my current ATF for more than 6 months and don't know when I will next see her because there just aren't any intersecting plans.
So I guess, if I gotta pick, I would go with "Long-Term" but I dont' think either fits.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Long term by a country mile.
The ATF and I are still going strong several years after we first got together. The comfort zone we have on my visits to her is good for both of us for many reasons.
That said, many of the dancers who I've come to know over time know I'm a friendly face and free with kind words and generous tips. I don't buy dances from them, but they usually stop in and say hello when they see me.
I like that.

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
Well I'm the entree guy. Funny thing is when I go to a SC with a friend of mine, he's a TOTAL buffet guy and he just doesn't understand why in the world I'd stay with one person. He just rolls his eyes at me while he's on to stripper number 5 for the night and I'm still with the same one.:P

Re: "Fire and Forget" or Long Term..What kind of custy are you generally?
I guess I'd classify myself as long term. I've had the same ATF now for 4 years.
I do like to sample from the buffet occasionally, but that's only to check out long term possibilities.
