shoulder spots
This forum has so far been a life saver with regards to back acne which cleared up after i discovered the head and shoulders method, and to a degree my facial acne when i discovered asprin masks.
but there is one area which just won't budge: which is my shoulders! They are always inflamed and painful and i have been left with a lot of scars from old acne too. is there any magic suggestion people can offer as the h+s method doesnt seem to work ike it does on my back. or even cover up suggestions.
And if anyone else who has this problem could post just to let me know im not a freak as i havent seen anyone else with this problem.

Re: shoulder spots
My derm put me on tazorac for my facial acne (for night),and clindamycin gel 1% for the acne on my back, face, and back (for morning). My acne cleared up completely in 2 months. And i had pretty bad cystic acne.My acne left me with tons of scars.Im using epiquin micro 4%.Its $100 for the tube but it work really well for the scars. It's worth the money.

Re: shoulder spots
thanks for posting. Unfortunately my doc won't allow me to take oral acne medication because i am on antidepressants and he thinks they might not mix well. But i will look into the epiquin cos i think its the red scars that bother me the most.

Re: shoulder spots
Have u tried microdermabrasion or chemical peels?
I used to suffer from a lot of comodones and it has transformed my skin remarkably. I am pretty sure they can do it anywhere not just the face.
There is a product called Cosmedix promogranite peel and it's a chemical peel. It has made a huge diff to my skin.
