when you got your breast augmentation...
to the ladies who have had implants, did you have an uncertainty? i mean, was there a moment when you sat down and said 'right! i'm definitely gonna get them' or was it just a question of taking the plunge?
did you feel like cancelling at any point and have you had any regrets about your surgery?
did you question your reasons for getting them or were you 100% sure you were doing the right thing?
any responses about this would be most helpful :)
Re: when you got your breast augmentation...
omg, total uncertainty. It took me years just get my ass to the consult.
"do I really need to do this?"
"what if something goes wrong?"
"I can't believe how much this is?"
"what if I don't like them?"
but overall, I'm glad I just took the plunge!
Re: when you got your breast augmentation...
I had always wanted them, so when I had the chance, there was no second guessing. I was 100% sure.

Yup. It's a big decision so of course. I'm glad I took the plunge though.

Lots of uncertaninty. Right before they started, i'm talking mid being put under, I was like NO WAY!!! but I'm really glad tey just thought I was loopy and did it anyways. Occassionally, when I'm already feeling down, I get upset that I did it, but that's rare. Overall, mucho pleased!
Re: when you got your breast augmentation...
I haven't had them done yet but I go through moments of uncertainty. I'm going to miss my smaller chest because I do love them, I just want them to be bigger and fuller. It's a huge commitment so it's natural to have moment where you ask yourself "Am I doing the right thing?" I mean, there's a lot to consider, costs, complications, time off work and future re-dos.
Re: when you got your breast augmentation...
I had thought about it for so many years that when I FINALLY booked it..all I felt was relief and excitement!
All uncertainty had been worked out WAY before!
Re: when you got your breast augmentation...
I had misgivings even after I booked my surgery. "Do I really want to go through with this? This is a lot of money. What will people think?"
And then about a week before surgery, it was really nice outside so I decided to put on the ONE extra-small bikini top that I'd managed to find that fit me, and go lay outside in the sun.
Well, I'd been working out like a fiend for the past few months, to speed my recovery and get my body fat as low as possible so I could be closer to my ideal weight for the surgery. I put on the bikini top, and I swear, I may as well have worn it on my back for as much as I had to put into it.
Misgivings: POOF. Gone, never to return.
Re: when you got your breast augmentation...
i have been wanting boobs for a VERY long time, so yeah i jumped at the chance, no second thoughts. but now they are only 7 days away and every day i'm getting more nervous! i never thought i would have second thoughts about this but now its like, "i don't want to have surgery!" "what if i ruin my body?" "what if i'm making a mistake?" "what if something goes wrong?" "what if i'm unhappy with the results?" "what will my family think? they're so against it." but it's really what i want and i gave myself almost ten years to think about it. i think it always seems really scary when a dream starts becoming reality... i would just give yourself a lot of time to really consider it, and know what you really want! i think if i hadn't thought about it so much, i wouldn't be able to go throught with it! eek! i hate surgery!!
