Re: You're Stripper Persona
Well Angel (my FL stripper name) and Me (my real name lol) are pretty much similar people, except that Angel is alot more sensual. She's extremely flirty, lots of eyecontact. She's very sophisticated. She dances to all kinds of music (pref. r&b, latin, rock etc). Now "Me" in real life I'm very quiet. I wear glasses, walk with my head to the floor. People always are asking me to "speak up" when I talk because I get so quiet. I'm getting better though. As far as Angel, I wish I could get her to open up just a little bit more..I'll see what I can do.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Well I'm me, but a million times nicer. I can pretty much flow through my shift no problem...but sometimes I have to catch myself, bite my tounge, remind myself I'm making money. In my real life..90% of the fuckers I deal with would have a spike heel through their eye socket!
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Yelena (my persona) is a predator. She sees her prey, sets him up, and moves in for the kill. She is calculating and sensual. She'll give the customer who respects and pays her well the utmost attention. When on stage, she moves confidently and fluidly, and when in private, she never takes her eyes off her "kill."
My true self, on the other hand, is a shy, timid girl who can't make eye contact to save her life. I can't believe working changes me so much, and sometimes I wish I could carry some of those characteristics into real life.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
I'm pretty much just an amplified version of myself. When I'm at work, I'm always on, chatting/joking, flirting, having fun, making people feel good about themselves-but I always have my eyes on my goal-which is to make money. I don't know if I really have a persona, per se, I'm just more, I don't know-perky?
Re: You're Stripper Persona
the real me is much quieter than Nadia. Nadia has the best of me and then some, sexy, just cocky enough to make the money, friendly and outgoing. I like to have time to myself when I'm home and just sit around. Nadia is driven to make that money.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Honey ooozes sensuality, and is always on. She's a bit of a bitch, and she knows her worth. She's sarcastic, funny, unapologetic, the life of the party, and always having fun.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
both mia and chrys (my real name)
-are fun and sarcastic
-don't take much (if any) shit from assholes (no pun intended)
-are very anti-drama-hooplah-bs
-loooove dancing and sex
so, for the most part, mia is the same as chrys. only, she treats everyone she meets as if they're already in her close circle of friends. i'd say "and she's ridiculously sexual" but ...... that's not much different from who i am in real life either. :P
oh and.. i am quite a bit more tolerant of idiocy at work. i (of course) hang out with men who i'd never talk to for more than a minute in my real life. not always because of physical attraction, but usualy because they're just idiots and/or very irritating to be around.
oh and.. sometimes mia doesn't have a boyfriend. :P and i sometimes "dumb myself down" when around guys who are insecure and thusly turned off by smart chicks. i can tell the type -real- easy now. i don't pretend to be an idiot per say, i just avoid certain topics and i let them "tell me" all about things i already know more about than they do. then i act really interested and maybe confused (if i'm really bored and/or playfull at the time). they eat it up. lol
i'm closest to 100% the real me when sitting with guys who like conversation.
since the real me is very confident, assertive, and i don't come across as being easy or slow .... i sometimes have to adjust those things to be an appropriate fantacy for some guys. otherwise the first impression they get is "this chick would never talk to me irl".
sorry if that sounds conceited. it's really not. i'm just being honest. i'm a different type of girl (mentaly/personality wise) from the one at least 50% of the strip club guys dream about. that % is way too high for me to cut out of my sales market, so adjust i will.
ohhh and i forgot the funniest most noticable thing that's different about mia. with certain men, she comes across as more femme than chrys. her voice is even a tad higher. i have a naturaly deeper voice and i've learned that with certain types (usualy the young guys) i get WAY more sales with a more bubbly girly voice. it doesn't sound fake either. i have -perfected- that shit. i don't slip up in conversation or anything. sometimes when i order pizza or something and my boyfriend is around, i'll do the voice just to be funny. he thinks it's hillarious. thankfull i've been around a lot girls with that particular voice, so i can copy it well, even though i personaly can't stand it. lol
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Ashley Tyler demands attention, draws all eyes on her. Can be cute sweet and playful or dominant and bitchy. Ashley portrays herself as a very classy girl when working the floor but still uses the sweet and playful side.
As myself I am super shy, like to blend in or fade in the background. I love my track pants and hoodies and never do my hair or makeup. Im soft spoken and a bit of a push over.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
I wouldn't say that Kali is a fake. I would just say that I am channeling a different part of myself. Kali is simply an exaggerated version of certain qualities of myself and diminishing others.
Kali Thorne is very extroverted, up beat, friendly, outgoing, and feminine. Her voice is sultry and she giggles a lot. Kali never has any problems and is always on top of the world. She also has a high tolerance for bullsh*t.
The real me is awkward, nerdy, sarcastic and a tad morose, (think "Daria"). I am also definatly a tomboy. The real me has a much shorter fuse than Kali. I am also a LOT smarter than Kali, (not that Kali is dumb).
I would either bore, confuse, or scare most of my customers if I talked to them in my real persona as opposed to Kali.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
For me, Leona, my stage persona, is real flirty. Everyone is "baby" or "sweetie" and I love making flirty-eyes at guys as I walk by. I also talk to anyone, no matter their age or anything.
Laura (the real me) is real shy. I only talk to people my age, as I am scared of being judge3d by my elders. Alot of people would say I am outgoing, but I guess when I talk to people, the Leona side shines through. The real me - the one behind closed doors, is odd, quiet, and nervous. Leona is just an extension of the persona I put on when I am out in public with friends.

I can def understand that, but just wanted to say that, in some cases it helps me to think of him...
Sometimes there's just some customers you REALLY want to be thru with asap--and that tends to make you more unrelaxed...Closing my eyes and pretending I'm dancing for my bf just for a minute was some of the best advice ever.....it helps you deliver that slow, sensual dance and hopefully makes the customer really believe yr "into him." Plus when I find myself thinking of him, it's a reassuring thought/image, that I'm lucky to have him and get to go back to him at the end of the night. Even when I was single and dancing, this helped immensely.
So just sayin, it can be (very) helpful to think of yr bf.

I agree. I always think of him when I am on stage or giving a private dance. It makes me smile real big and helps keep that smile on my face 24/7. People always say that I look happy and most of the time it is because I am thinking about him.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Not being a stripper, I'm sorry if I'm outta line here, but it's kinda the same for me going up on stage for a show, or even just a couple songs at an open mic night.
Tom at home is laid-back, really easy-going, loves to smile and stuff...I'm actually kinda shy and avoid eye-contact most of the time.
When I get on stage, you'd better believe it's a whole new ballgame. Confident, a little cocky, a little snarl on the lip, "I want you to get into it" sorta thing. I strap that guitar on my shoulder, I hear that amp feedback, I take that last shot of JD, it's go time. I'll lock eyes with anyone and everyone as I scan the crowd, and if someone shouts at me I'll shout right back at 'em. And I have the mic, so I'll shout louder ;).
Rock singers, strippers, we're not so different. Maybe that's why we usually get along so well? That, and I love naked ladies...can't help it. :D

I think "Lovely" is my alter ego! She is erotic, cunning, seductive, and she's always open to conversation or a good lapdance!!
I'm lazy, I am really into family time. But Lovely is energetic always moving.
In my personal life, lovely helps me with my daily affirmations.

....You don't wanna see me in a G-string...trust me.
On that note, for Frosh Week I wore a man-thong once...THAT was not comfortable. Felt like cramming a crowbar into a mousehole, thick end first.:O
Re: You're Stripper Persona
...And Cally, that was supposed to be our secret, remember? Now everyone's gonna wanna see...

Embyr is really just a bit more ... pliable? than I am... as in, she can be more sultry, more confident, LESS outspoken when need be...
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Keeley and Pooka are alot alike. Both can be confident and sexy...but both can also be insecure and shy. The main difference is people skills - in real life, I'm just not all that interested in other people, and like to be left alone. At work of course I can't really do that, so I am all over them.
Re: You're Stripper Persona
Chrissy and Me are similar in a lot of respects but Chrissy is an awful lot more flirtatious and overtly sexual, and has no problem playing the bimbo. She is a lot less outspoken and is all about the money. she's driven (like me, but moreso) and is not insecure at all (not like me, the real me gets slightly insecure bout certain things). My ex used to call me Chrissy when i left work because i'd have problems shaking the persona. (i hated that, hate being called chrissy outside of work although ill respond to it) Chrissy is a goddess and Me, well.. Me doesnt really think of herself that way. Me just is who she is whereas Chrissy can be sculpted.

Oh I was so just about to post "Oh okay.. hi everyone, I'm Stripper Persona"
Anyway, smartass grammar correction jokes aside...
Me and Ashlee are the same people. I have never been capable of separating my stripper persona from my real self. I am just me. When I am on stage, I am lively, fun, energetic and confident. When I am on the floor, I am insecure, shy, and I completely lack any confidence at all. That is just the way I am, regardless of what name I'm using.
