What's the right way to ask a dancer if she does private parties?
Is this a routine enough part of work that asking about it is no big deal, or there is there any respectful etiquette about broaching the subject of private parties?
Or on the other side, any tips on POOR ways to approach the subject with a favorite dancer?

Just ask the worst someone can say is NO.
Tho your best bet is to go thru an agency in the end as they are guaranteed to do private parties.

Could you give me advice on where to find an agency? Is it listed under "Party" or some other section of the YP? (I'm obviously a total newbie at this--thanks for the help!)

Google it.
For example, if I was to want a stripper in Las Vegas I would type that, Stripper Las Vegas.
Or look under Entertainment, Adult in your phone book.
Good luck

Partypop.com, then look for your area/ region.;D
When you say private party, do you mean a birthday/ bachelor party or just a one on one show? For one on one I always recommend looking up escort services on craigslist.com, as the ladies themselves advertise there, so you can talk to your escort before you agree to buy her services. The craigslist.com ladies aren't into doing bachelor-type parties (costumes, games, hot seats etc.). It seems that they prefre the one on one types of encounters.

I don't think most dancers would mind being asked, if what you mean by "private party" is a bachelor party or some other group event where she will be entertaining by taking her clothes off, dancing, playing a few racy games, and collecting tips. If however, "private party" means you want her to come back to your hotel room and perform sex acts with you, then yes, many dancers will be offended to be asked. Make *very* sure that the dancer understands which kind of "private party" you're talking about.
