If at first you don't succeed....
Try, try again.
Gonna give another shot at a juice fast. I feel like I realy need it. It's just to dificult, if I do it when Im off, sitting at home makes me want to snack. If I do it at work..I get to hungry and cranky and tired.
Im off the next few days, I'm gonna give it another try.
I feel like a big blob of fat right now. I can feel the heaviness when I walk. Its gross. Plus the recent tummy troubles Ive had...I just really need this. I'll just have to keep reminding myself that.

Good luck. Anything involving fasts just sounds too hard for me, but I too have got to shift a bit of extra baggage. Keep us updated.
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
I wish I had that kind of control. good luck!

I don't think its a good idea. Seriously, make out a meal plan and start out slowly!
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
Oh god. I just came home from Applebees. Had 3 cheese penne pasta. I could see the butter and grease floating in it.
Ok..plan B.
Wake up tomorrow, eat some oatmeal and an apple.
Baby steps......
After I get that acomplished, maybe I can think about lunch....
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
Sounds like you have as much willpower as me. Seriously, I have never been able to do any kind of diet, I've always got away with eating anything I wanted but it's starting to catch up with me now >:( But, oh, I cannot diet>:(
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
Juice fasts are a fairly unrealisitic proposition. I agree with Katrine that you should try for a healthier meal plan instead.

Yep, this sounds like me...
Anytime I plan a hardcore diet or fast I wind up blowing it that same day. I have to stick with healthy moderation and mini meals through the day.
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
Juice fasts never work out for me. People say they're good for digestion, but not for mine. I get crampy and sore, and then when I do eat I get so horribly sick.
I can go a day eating less than 500 calories if it's actual food though, like fruit and protein bars. Go figure. Not that I could do that every day, or even two days in a row without feeling ick.
I agree with others- sustainable weight loss only works with patience, and persistence. I know the fat blob feeling, believe me, but it just takes time. And diligence!
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
I would suggest doing the juice, and then snacking on things during the day like nuts and avocado. My mom did this recently and lost 8lbs in a week and has felt a lot more energetic. I have been meaning to do this too.
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
YAY. I did it!
I woke up, had some green juice and some berry juice, and some oatmeal. I went to the gym, got my ass totally kicked by a trainer, came home and had a protien shake.....
SO far, so good!
I cannot wait to work out with this trainer again. He was good! I never worked with a male trainer before, only women, and they never really made me work hard. This guy pushed me to my limits, which is what I wanted. I want to work hard, and feel it.
So yeah....this may be the start of something good.
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
good for you! im starting to get really depressed about my weight again, so i know how you feel...
Re: If at first you don't succeed....
On the third day of my water fast I lost my cravings and didnt feel hunger pains. Hell , my stomach growls louder now that Im not on it. But I must say I did a water fast, not a juice fast. I didnt do it for immediate weight loss , just to jump start a healthy eating plan.
