That safety tips thread got my thinking about a few things. Opinions on any of the following would be appreciated.
If the club has a driver they use, that is safer than using a taxi, right?
What's a good place to put a purse while doing a table dance? I'm assuming down by your feet within that little platform area.
Also, when I went to check out another club I talked to a dancer there for like 20 minutes and she seemed really nice and gave me some really good advice such as to be confident, not to let a bad night get to me, to make sure i have an escape plan, try not to get suckered into doing the drugs that some girls do, directed me to a good place to buy some stuff, etc. She said all that simply because I told her I was thinking of working there. She also gave me her cell number and told me to let her know when I'd start working. Is it a bad idea to call, along the lines that it's bad to give out personal info? It seems really rude not to after she gave up time while working. I don't have a cell yet, and it would definately not be ok to get messages directed to my stage name on the machine at home.
