non-nude at a nude club ???
The club i go to is a juice bar so its totally nude but lately ive noticed that some of the girls onstage never really get totally nude as they roll their skirt or shorts over their waste....im kinda feelin a little cheated cause im giving up the alcohol i could be getting at other clubs in order to see the "whole package" in return here....but im not really getting it and its really annoying....the stage chairs were crowded with guys so its not like the club was empty....is it just like a security thing for the girls so they feel like they r wearing something yet ???....also in a way it doesnt seem fair to the girls who r nude....just looking for some insight here....thx

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
I know a lot of girls who will keep something around their tummies cuz they're self conscious about their stomachs. I've never really figured it out though.. you work nude.. get naked. If they're leaving their gstrings on its probably because no one is tipping.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
So you are saying that the cookie is visible but the are not getting completely nude? Security? No. Lazy? Maybe. Does it matter? Not to me but you have to make your own decision about what you expect from an all-nude club. It doesn't sound like the other girls would really have anything to complain about as long as these ladies are exposing their genitals like everyone else. FWIW, I'm seeing this a lot more in Mass and RI clubs over the last few years but it really doesn't bother me.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
I usually leave my skirt on if I'm working nude. It's around my hips usually hiked up and I give custies a good view of what I got going on. However, I feel that it's a good idea to leave a bit of distinctive clothing on so that when I come around asking for a dance people remember me from the stage. Alot of guys don't remember what you look like if everyone is naked. Seriously, I've walked off stage (after being nude for 4 or 5 songs) and asked a guy for a dance. His reply: I'll wait till I see you on stage. He honestly didn't remember! But if I dance on stage nekked with a little bit of , I dunno, purple clothing on, and I come around guys will remember the color or style of my clothing and I have a better chance of selling. Guys might be overwhelmed by the amount of pussy or too drunk to remember who's who in a nude club. I always say if you want to see me FULLY FULLY naked, you are welcome to buy a dance. ;)

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
Oh, you'd hate me. I work nude and keep as many clothes on as possible on the stage. Do customers think I'm lazy? Probably not; I am so high strung that my hands vibrate and I'm constantly being asked what I'm on and I dance pretty much the same way (why yes, it is frightening to behold) - I was once told by a customer that if they put me in a giant hamster wheel they could probably replace nuclear power. Are they irritated? Why would I care? A customer who "feels cheated" on being denied a full spread on stage is not likely to be valuable to me. I'll get undressed if the management insists; but I can't take your annoyance over not getting a free spread on stage seriously - I mean, keep in mind that the club doesn't usually pay us, and if they do, it is nominal. The stage is, more or less, conscripted labour.
As for being unfair to the other girls - I don't even get this. How is it unfair to them? Like what negative effect could it possibly be having on them?

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
I don't like it either, but they're doing you a favor if they're covering an unappealing tummy. If they're lazy, well, what a shock! Lazy strippers!
I don't think they're doing what you do, Jenny, which is not getting naked because there isn't enough money for you to do so -- if you're showing cookie already, it's not about keeping clothes on until they're paid more.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
My money's on self-conscious.
The dancers I know that do this tend to be aware of stretch marks, caesarean scars, etc.
I'd imagine that exposing your body to fairly relentless scrutiny every time you work will make the average dancer aware of every (real or imagined) flaw and maybe a little inclined to cover it up if possible if makeup alone won't do it.
It's not a case of feeling a "little cheated", it's a case of realising that dancers are persons with feelings who may not want to show off every last inch of themsevles.
Phil.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
Or it could be that they're not getting tipped enough! In my club while on stage the dancers must have a minimum of $5 to remove their top and a minimum of $10 to remove their bottoms. That's a club rule, our GM sees it this way, if they're going to get a free show no matter what then where's the incentive to tip. Basically, why buy the cow when you get free milk! Guys at the stage will say, I'll tip you when you get naked, when I explain the rules to them that we need their help to get naked and tell them what's involved they'll start tipping. My guess she's either self conscious over an area of her body or the guys aren't tipping enough.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
Some nude clubs I've been to are technically "nude optional" and its up to the discretion of the dancer on how much to bare down there. Some girls go all the way, some pull their panties down a little ways for a tease, and a few don't take their bottoms off at all. Sometimes the amount of tipping money they've gotten is an issue and sometimes it isn't.
Now of course the club isn't going to advertise that only SOME of their girls take it all off. Then again, some casinos don't advertise that only SOME of their slot machines pay back 99%.
All you can do really is vote with your wallet.

1) I disagree on the "not likely to be valuable to me" line....i wouldnt get a dance from u because u "keep as many clothes on as possible on the stage"....but i would get one from a girl who is free-er with her attire....just feel like the dance would be better....just my opinion....so thats lost $$ for u because of that.
2) What i mean by unfair is that they see the other girls with clothes on and think y shouldnt i do the same....and then they do....so they must be noticing it.
3) Its not really a covering imperfection thing either as ive seen some of these girls b4 this and their stomachs were fantastic.
4) I think its kinda like u said that the stage is just a "have to do" part of the club and r trying to get away with as much as possible....im not blaming the girls....to me its the managers job but like u said i can always go elsewhere.
p.s. on some girls u really cant see the cookie....lol

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
"Get away with as much as possible?" c'mon zeke.... do you really think we're all schemeing and plotting to see how many items of clothing we can leave on while on stage? I've said my piece, my choice to leave on a little something is a great marketing tactic, for some it may be a cover up, for others it's an incentive for guys to tip.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
I think that if you work at a nude club you should get nude. I work at a topless one, and I believe you can flash in the back room but not totally... and I do know girls who keep a skirt on and their top halfway probably because they are embarassed... I've known a girl that wore super high up 80's looking thong only because her stomach was mushed (and it was because of children) and she had two big c-section scars... but if she would have taken care of herself then she wouldn't have that... however maybe one customer likes her thong like that, I don't know but it would show to me that that person is hiding something.

Well... that's why I said "not likely" as opposed to "absolutely not". Certainly individual customers have their quirks; some think it is either more "classy" or more "mysterious" that I keep it on (both of which I also think are wrong, by the way); some also agree with me that the aesthetic effect is more pleasing. Point being; individual quirks are not what we market toward, so your's don't matter to me. I don't mean that meanly - just in a "I'm pretty sure you're coming from a particular and niche viewpoint and as such it is unlikely to have any effect on my work environment" kind of way - assuming of course that you do not frequent my club on the night that I work and spend upwards of what I usually make. In that case, it would; and, you know - darn.
I can state, absolutely, positively that getting naked as fast as you can on stage does not, in any sense, translate into a better dance. Not generally, not specifically, in no way. That's just... incorrect.

I don't see how that is unfair to them. What you mean is that it creates an undesirable result for YOU. To me it seems eminently fair to let the girls do what they want; and those that choose to make themselves utterly naked are not being negatively impacted by my decision at all. I think what it shows is that most girls prefer not to give it away for free. That doesn't make it a fairness issue. The only way "fairness" would come into play is if they HAD to get naked and I didn't.

Well, they could disagree with you, or they could not want to give it all away, or they could think they look cuter with something on, or they could prefer not walking off the stage naked, or they could have a problem with guys stealing their clothes. There are a number or reasons that girls do this. Ultimately, the girls are independent; if you really want to see the pink - trot yourself up to the rail and tip well, or buy a dance. None of us really WANT to gratify you for free on the offchance that you might buy a dance at some point if we spread wide enough. Just saying.

Certainly you can. Or you can just be sensible and pay for what you want rather than trying to get something for nothing. The entire point of strip clubs, after all, is that you don't have to be cute, charming, sweet, nice, have a good job, be interesting, drive a nice car or listen to good music to get my pants off. All you have to do is pay. The corollary, of course, is that I want to keep them on if you don't.
As well - when I so little twists and twirls, I think the skirt swishes in a pretty way. I just like it.
However - I agree that you are absolutely entitled to spend your money on whatever floats your boat. By all means, use all market forces at your disposal. Spend on whatever girls perform the way you like.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
I used to do this occasionally when I worked at a nude club, for a variety of reasons:
1 - I look young, and doing the shy 'look i'm not wearing any panties giggle giggle' thing while keeping my skirt on made me BANK with alot of guys, especially older guys.
2 - The DJ would play short sets with lots of girls- we had 4 rotating stages, and getting dressed 4 times and then undressed was just a pain in the ass. Plus, the quicker you got to the next stage, the more time you had to make cash.
3 - My stage would be full, but very few tippers. Typically if no one was tipping, I simply wouldn't get naked. But if some were, I'd keep my skirt on, but dance for them and flash them. I'm not giving free shows for 20 guys if I'm getting tipped by 1.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
We dont go nude on stage unless we are paid $20 -thankfully. I cant even stand being in my g-string and bikini for all the non-tippers!
There are too many cheap skates who come in for a FREE perve.
It sounds like u want as much action for as little money as possible.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
Your a stripper, you work in a nude club. Nude clubs mean getting naked on stage. A lot of customers see it as.. if a girl doesnt get naked on stage, how does he know she'll get naked in the VIP?
I know a lot of clubs that will fire you if you dont get naked on stage. Its one thing to keep something to cover your stomach. Its another to not take your gstring off.

Well, different clubs have different norms. When I worked with you in Thunder Bay and I kept my skirt on, they insisted that I remove it (and I did); in my home club I take off my pants and bra, but keep on my outer clothes and nobody minds. And if THEY insisted... well, I might be less pliant. I might do it rather than rock the boat, but I also might just buy off the stage. Again - it comes down to a balance of payment, advantage and preference.
As for how does the customer know I'll get naked in VIP - well, I think it is fairly intuitive that when you are paying me $20 to take off my clothes that I'll do it; and customers that think there is some principle involved; meh, I have no patience for it. I've never seen a girl here refuse to get naked in the VIP regardless of how much and how fast she took her clothes off on stage.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
The thing that gets on my customer nerves is sort of related... women in those triangle bikini tops who don't take their tops off, they just slide the triangles over. I hate that. Topless = NO TOP. I don't like the way it looks when they just slide it over or pull their tops up; I love to see an actual topless woman. I understand if nobody's tipping but I stop tipping at that point. It comes off as lazy to me, like she's saying "I don't give a fuck what I look like or what you're here to see, but here's a nipple. Gimme a dollar."
-
Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
I know what you're saying, Yekhefah, but sometimes it is truly situational. I've always worked at nude clubs, but the first club I worked at was a more standard one-girl-at-a-time stage, three song sets. There, it seemed much more natural to slowly peel one layer off at a time, UNLESS there was an unusual amount of non-tipping. It's sort of a balance, isn't it? Maybe it's not as simple as "Either you tip or I don't take ANYTHING off" or "I won't tip until you're ALREADY naked". It has to be a little of both. Quid (or is it quim?) pro quo.
HOWEVER! I think that different rules apply to clubs with multiple girls onstage. I now work at a club with a huge stage where anywhere from 5-15 girls AT ONCE are circling the stage, and let me tell you, most girls work through various layers directly because of the freeloaders sitting next to tipping customers. If the money is flowing all over the stage, then by the end of my half hour set I'll be fully nude, but damned if I'm going to walk around buck naked for a full THIRTY MINUTES when there's no money onstage for any of us. Doing extended flashes is a way of specifically rewarding the guys who ARE tipping and not giving a free show to the guys who aren't.
"Here's a nipple", though. Tee hee hee.

I have nothing valuable to add; I simply wanted to say that Jenny's post made me come on myself with delight (in the figurative sense, of course).

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
Jenny as I said leaving your shirt on is one thing, you still have it undone and your showing your bewbies.
Its when girls leave their gstrings on that I get pissed off. You dont need to spread your legs and finger yourself. Just take the damn thing off. If you work in a nude club that means bottoms off.
-
Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
Really it's not a huge deal, Cally. I knew one dancer that worked in a nude club and always left her thong on when working the stage. She was the exception since all the other girls showed the goods. I doubt many customers lost sleep over it and I doubt it affected her money. *Shrug* Nothing to be pissed about.

Re: non-nude at a nude club ???
No its damn annoying. If you choose to work nude, then go nude. Its part of the job. When I was a table dancer I worked at bars that I paid to work at that would fire girls for not going nude. Its a NUDE club. Guys are paying $5 or $10 cover(sometimes more) plus $7 a drink to come in and see pussy.
