I have dancer for several friends both male and female - usually table dances. It doesnt worry me. I always warn them that they'll get the same dance that everyone else gets because Im a show off and I couldnt stand to be seen giving an inferior dance to anyone by the rest of the crowd. If they can live with that so can I, lol.
I have done a few lap dances for friends too though only males ones so far. Ive also become good friends with people Ive danced for in the past - it just doesnt bother me. I guess everyone knows exactly where I stand too as far as the friendships go and everyone knows how much I love my job and not to read anything else into the equation, so maybe that makes a difference.
If my best friend comes in like she says she wants to i will.
I've done it a few times. It's slightly awkward, but you really can't refuse a friend.
My female friends, yes. Topless only. My male friends, no way in hell.
Female friends are fun to dance for and it's (usually) just play. Lately I seem to have drawn a line between friends and custys. I feel like guys have to pick one or the other. There are a couple of exceptions.
I'll second the line between friends and customers from the other side of the fence.
There are several dancers I count as friends outside of work, and one of the reasons we get on is that I don't take any real interest (no matter how great the temptation) while they're at work.
If they're nude and cross my line of sight, fine, that's what they do for a living, and neither of us get too fussed about it, but I won't go out of my way to look and I would never ask for a lap dance.
I doubt they'd want to give one, and if they did, I'd start to move back over that dividing line between customer and friend.
Phil.
My friends know it's not cool to come to my club when I'm working. It would totally make me uncomfortable. I have a hard enough time going to the club and pretending to be some ultra-sexed vixen without my friends coming in and making it harder. There are a couple friends (both girls) that I wouldn't mind visiting, but that would be it.
I will accept tips only from friends be they male or female be it on stage or on the floor. I refuse to dance for friends as all the dances (and clubs I work within) are full nude clubs ... and I don't want to blur the line of friendship by dancing in an erotic manner fully nude for someone who is meant to be a friend.
For me female friends, they help "play it up" with me on stage by tipping me and "having fun" with me. Y'know... play up the "girl on girl" thing... yet done in a fun manner.
My male friends I generally won't dance for if they tip me. I just give them a kiss and thank you and they walk away (that's the only way I want them tipping me).
Unfortunately, most clubs I have worked within (Darwin exception) don't allow friends inside the club.
