Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
Uh, yeah. Skip over to Body Business and read my latest post in "Ever had Experience with Viagra or Levitra?" for why I'm suspecting this.
My clinical instructor told me about the time that she had an absolutely evil boss. My instructor went to New Orleans, bought something called "Away Powder," sprinkled it under the boss's desk, and lo and behold, the boss was fired a week later.
I don't believe so much in magical objects and spells as much as I believe in people's wills being focused on things. Also, I am very skeptical about this kind of stuff, but at the same time, I think that spellcasting is serious shit that shouldn't be messed around with.

Hm, well I did in middle school and most of high school. I'll have to go to New Orleans and get a voodoo doll. I'll try it and see what happens.}:D

Sure I do. Bad energy can be directed just as good energy can.

Okay... anyone know how to dispel? No Catholic Church, please.

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
I have done spell casting myself and do not believe in wishing bad on others. So when I do spell cast it is always to wish good things upon something. Bad spells will onlycome back two fold. Here is my example for this. when i was a teen I trained at a very gossipy ice rink. One girl and her fellow gossipers were heavy into spell casting. She cast a spell on me that I might realize that I was a [email protected]#$%. Apparently she had many, many wax dolls she would make and most of her spells were not for good. I have always believed in good over evil and just prayed to God and the saints handing this problem over to them. The end result was this their entire gossip circle all got fired from the rink. The spell caster passed away of bone cancer a few years later(may the spirits rest her soul). The daughter of one of the gossips had a tumor in her uterous at the age of 9. I never found out what happed to the others. But while I had a hard time leaving the figure skaing world behind, in the end it had no real adverse effect on me.

I think if people believe in it and use it, they should be fully aware of the they are doing first

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
I don't really believe in all that, like, culdrons and voodoo dolls and zombies and firing powders. I also spell it magic.

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
There is karma in spell casting and that is why it is important to never wish bad on others in it. If you really want to work torwards geting rid of a boss that is annoying for example. Do some research ask them what their dreams are. Then sometimes by sending the right karma their way good can come about for all.

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
Okay, I'll explain the situation. My boyfriend was in a a long, messy relationship before we dated. He met a girl with severe issues and was jealous to the point where she didn't even allow him to watch the movie "Mean Girls" because it had girls in it. They lived together. However, he found that he just wasn't attracted to her anymore. She persisted and tried to persuade him to stay with her, but eventually relented and the relationship ended because it was gone, and they hadn't had sex in a year. They were still stuck living together because neither of them could afford to live on their own at the time. I strongly suspect that at the time that she was trying to persuade him to stay with her, she cast a love/binding spell on him. He agrees, but doesn't want to ask his ex because that would confirm to her that the spell worked. He has erectile dysfunction, which I suspect is the result of a spell that was supposed to bind him to her, and that he can't express his desire to another woman.
Seriously, can I get him exorcised or something?
StripperMBA, you make me so glad that I never dabbled in witchcraft.

I don't either, but I do believe in the will of people. You know how you can start fires with a magnifying glass? I see the will as the sun, and the belief as the magnifying glass. The belief can be a number of things, like religion, witchcraft, or anything that can focus that intense will on something. I would never mess with that unless I was trying to heal someone or something good. Even then, I'm apprehensive. I mean, I don't even like swimming in water where I can't see my feet.

intention, though is different. I guess in my mind at least. I don't thing you can curse an object or anything, make someone be bound to you. I believe your bf has all the power over who he is attached to.
I think his ED problems stem from the trauma of the relationship, not any binding spell or w/ev. You need a sex therapist and a good script, not a poem and some herbs.

He did just go to a doc and get a battery of tests, and we're awaiting results and further referrals. However, I can't help but suspect additional or residual...

I believe in energy. Spells, etc can tap into and manipulate energy as easily as anything else!

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
Maybe study tantric sex. The principles of tantra involve a slow build-up of energy, and tapping into each other's energy. From what I remember from a book I had on it years ago, there are also some healing excercises for damaged sexual energy. Might be worth your while to give it a google, and see what resources are available.

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
Yes Im a believer and have dabbled a little also.
I would look into some spiritual healing and / or natural / alternative medicine. Repairing and cleansing the Aura is important too if any form of witchcraft or bad energy is envolved.
Was your boyfriends ex an experienced witch or do you just suspect that she used spellcraft as a desperate measure?

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
idk .. i've never seen any magic or spells except in movies and from stories so i guess i'll believe it when i see it. i'm not discounting magic and such, i just can't wrap my mind around something like that unless i experience it i guess.

Re: Do you believe in spells, magick, curses, etc?
My personal rituals are just that...personal.
So I won't discuss them here since they are very private to me. Besides, what works for me might not work for someone else. Energies can vary greatly on a case by case basis.
If you are REALLY serious about doing this, you must be prepared to face any consequences that you believe you may suffer. And definitely tailor things to fit your own circumstance. Real Magick can't be found in spell books, it comes from the heart.
