OK, I think I am officially in the middle of nowhere....anyone know if any of the clubs in town are worth a cab ride?

I haven't been there for a couple of years now, but last time I was, TD's North was a decent way to beat the heat (yeah, heat)...
TD's North, TD's Eubank, Spearmint Rhino, Ice House, Chapter 2, (girls not too hot here anymore). Two other nude clubs there too.
Albuquerque isn't bad. It's a city of about 800,000 people. Rent a car, or get a cab and check the clubs out. This is the Southwest, so $10 floor dances and inexpensive VIP's are the norm.
Ice House closed a few years ago. In my opinion, Albuquerque really isn't worth a shot when it comes to dancing.. but if you have to, check out TDs and Spearmint Rhino. Avoid downtown clubs and everything else.
I hit TD's North a few months ago and thought it was pretty tame. $10 floor dances and they're virtually hands off (one way dancer contact is allowed). I inquired if the mileage was better in the VIP (they waive the $20 cover some days) and the girls all said they were one way back there too. A bouncer regularly observed the activities in VIP so this club appears to be a waste. I'll be back in ABQ next week but I'll find an alternate activity for my free time.
Rhino is by far the best club in ABQ, imho. TD's North ranks #2 in my book. The few other clubs around aren't worth the bother to even check out.
I found TD's Gold (on Eubank N of I-40) quite entertaining. Posted a TR. Cover is $5, VIP is worth the $20. On a Friday, good mix of dancers, most good to excellent. Mileage had high variance. Some allowed limited 2-way contact, others none at all. VIP mileage was somewhat higher than downstairs, and it's a bit more private. Chairs downstairs and couches upstairs are comfortable. All around better than Colorado clubs, not quite as good as my favorite in Salina KS, although much more comfortable and without the smoke, which is important to me. I'd go back.
