what do u like about sc's that has nothing to do with the dancers?
I have heard some men say they like the fact that fights between men are less likely at a strip club than at a normal club, bar or pub.

Hmm thats a tough one, I mean if it was not for the dancers I wouldnt be there in the first place.
It depends on the club but I've found that where I've gone you can buy drinks for a reasonable price. And I guess the music is pretty cool (although cheesey djs can be a pain in the ass). But come on, let's be realistic, without the dancers why the hell go?!
Without the dancers it would just be a bar with a cover charge, over priced water downed drinks, typically very bad overpriced food, and little or no opposite sex to chat with. Basically, pointless.
Some of the reasons I started going to SC's were that it was alright to be alone and drink soda. Hard to go to a bar or nightclub without a group or without drinking alcohol.
Nothing. Nothing at all.Quote:

I get out of the house....that's about it.
I can have a very good lunch at the Penthouse Club in Sauget (St.Louis area) cheaper than at McDonalds, Wendy's etc.
Depends on the club. I have been in some strip clubs that are real good rock music clubs. Obviously, the dancers are the main attraction, but the loud music and Jack Daniels really adds to it...
The music, it's what keeps the exciting mood of a club. Could you imagine trying to go up on stage without any songs?
Some guys enjoy the music and the staff. Maybe a plasma to watch the game on. But it all comes back to the dancers.
Well, I know everyone at C-Folds (my usual strip bar since the one here in town closed, and even long before that point). I know the bouncers, the DJs, the bartenders, the owner, the regulars...it's a point of familiarity in a city where I don't know many people...I'm a small-town kid, what can I say?
However, if there were no dancers, I wouldn't go. I'd go some place with lots of pool tables and cheap pitchers of draft beer.
It would have to be the music and bar staff. Other than that, I like the lounge feel of some clubs that I wouldn't get at a pub.
When I go as a customer I enjoy the fact that I dont get hit so much as I do in an ordinary night club, and people ask me less about my hair cos people tend to keep themselves to themselves or the group theyre with in strip clubs rather than mingle. I find the atmosphere far more relaxed than clubbing generally.

yep thats what i was thinking u dont have to put up with every second guy hitting on u.

Doesn't sound like my kinda club.
What's saying "Hi" without a little 4-knuckle reinforcement?
You know, I gotta admit, one thing I do like about the club, is that something about it's atmosphere, but I really just do not care... and that judgment does NOT help my wallet.
I like the whole enviroment of the SC....I mean whats there not to love..The cheesy dj speaking at the speed of light, all the ladies getting their hustle on, the whole aire of just enjoying yourself as soon as you walk in, the smoke machines and the lights flashing back and forth, the different music you hear.
It's just plain more interesting.
Very comfortable place to go by myself, other dudes don't try to be my friend, non competitive/non aggressive crowd in general.
when I would as a customer to a place I didn't know anyone it was during the day b/c it had a little bit of energy.I found that better than sitting there staring at the wall, the bartender, the floor.... Unless I was going to a club I knew people, the DJ,dancers or whoever I preferred normal or regular bars at nite tho.
The managers!!!!!!!!! .... not really. I kinda like knowing everybody there in general. Since I've been a regular there for a good 1 - 1/2 years I know everybody except the really new people. I shake about 5 hands every time I go in (and I'm not a big spender usually) because I know 'em all, that's kinda cool I guess.
Also at The Lodge in Dallas, the food is the best I've ever had in a strip club bar none. They're actually known for their wonderful menu and MANY MANY choices of food that's reasonably priced and tastes sooooooo good.
i've said it before and i will say it again. more dancers should take notice to how important we are to the industry.
you know, because it's -nothing- without us.
