The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Please elaborate on how many people u were paying for and any alcohol.
I was a bit surprised coz some of my friends (4 of them) went out to a not very expensive restaurant and the bill came to $600!
I think the most a meal has ever cost me (with just 2 people) is about $200.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Hmmm well I can't have alcohol yet, but the biggest is probably $150 for just me.
-
Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
About $150, including tip and one drink per person (2 people).
-
Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
That Ive paid my share of - $120 a head with 9 people. OMG the food was soooooooooooooooo good, I still dream about it, no shit!!!!! it was at Tabou a French resturant in Sydney.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
$600 ?!?!
Nope. I havn't ever spend even too much over $100 for a meal (my half or portion of the bill including everything)... usually I try to stick to $50... actually less... around $20 for my meals.
Can you tell I don't eat out much? I just don't see the point when I can create good meals at home for much much less. So it is rare for me to go out and eat...

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
$500.00+ Easily with a Friend I have known since Kindergarten. I see him when I go home to visit my Mom. Still lives in the old home town.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
in one dinner maybe 150 for 2 people, but we get sushi quite often and it runs us 70-115 everytime (and that is take home), lovvvve sushi but it is an expensive habit!

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
I spent about $280 on a meal for myself and my boyfriend on his birthday. There was no alcohol in that bill, but the food was amazing, and so worth the $$. It comforted me a little to know it was rated at one of the top 10 steak houses in the country.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Uhh what 600 bills um ya I beleive that is a rip off

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
I've actually only spent like 40 dollars on a meal. It was for two people at a thai place. Super yummy though! Oh, and that includes one beer and one non-alcoholic drink, plus tip.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Maybe $100 per person. More if we order a lot of drinks but I don't usually have but one drink if I go out to eat.
-
Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
maybe 50. damn i would neeeeever spend more. even for a really exotic wine... i simply couldn't justify the opportunity cost.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
The most expensive meal I paid for wasn't even really a meal. Last year my mom and sister came to visit me in Vancouver. We took the ferry to Victoria and stayed there only one night. I took my mom and sister to this super famous place that my mom was really excited about for "tea." It was a birthday present for my mom from my sister and I, but I footed the bill (unknown to my mom). With the tip it was over 200 CAD. I thought it was totally insane, but it made my mom insanely happy, so I was happy, too.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
I've never (personally) spent more than $100ish. When I was little, my family would go to the track to see our horses race, and dinner in the owner's box was $200 a head then.
I've always had the guilty urge to go back home to NYC and hit up some of those places with the $1000 ice cream sundaes or the $1000 martinis... hehehee.

Oooh, I've always wanted to do that too. Preferably if someone else is picking up the tab though. $1000 icecream wouldn't last long enough for me to savor each bite accordingly. Maybe a martini would though... yum!

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Around $225 + tip for 2 people at Cafe Sole in Key West, my favorite restaurant ever. It's an upscale but not exorbitant place... however, my dad (who's pretty much the best dining-out buddy I've ever met) had a bottle of wine, shared an appetizer, and each had entrees, port, and dessert. He paid... like I said, my dad is the coolest.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
3 bills on Tony's here in Houston for two people W/O alcohol. The food was awful for the price. I defintely won't be going back anytime soon.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
since we get takeout or eat out often, we never spend more then about $80aud per meal.
the best japanese place here we spead about $100-with drinks for two of us.
maybe im cheap, i just cant justify spends elobarate amounts of cash on food. id rather eat out alot to mid range places, then eat once somewhere flash and stuffy

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Under $50. I don't drink and I don't eat at expensive places. I also never have multiple courses.
-
Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
Jaizaine, I don't have any direct links about that expensive stuff, but I have heard about it. I heard about a beverage in New York that has a real diamond at the bottom of the glass. Its really weird... I've heard about this craziness in a few places.

Re: The most u have ever spent on dinner?
I've had lots of expensive dinners, but I haven't ever paid for them!
Haha, I have paid when my husband and I go out, but we don't usually eat anything that is too expensive. My fine dining life is probably over at this point. And that's ok with me. I've been everywhere in this town already.
