If morning cardio works for morning people, I believe it, and it's great. But I'm not a morning person. My ideal time to work out is midnight, lol.
But my gym closes at 10 PM, and sometimes I like going in before work to make sure I'm relaxed when the stressful shit starts up (it always does). So I usually wind up going in about 4 PM.
Come to think of it, that's morning for me, LOL!!
But not really, I will never wake up and go there within the first hour or two. Fuck that...
And my cardio is better than good. I got a checkup the other day and the guy couldn't feel a pulse (and I have big veins) in my wrist, he had to use the stethoscope and listen hard. He said my heartrate was the same as a professional athlete's.
I'd say workout when you are truly motivated to do so. If you aren't a morning person it's going to be no fun, and you won't do it as much.
