Also would the first one look good with regular thigh high black boots?

Well.... are we talking for work or for a party? The black/red one is more pirate-like I believe, however, the pink one would probably be easier to take off and put on repeatedly because it only has one zipper. Yarrrr maytee.
I like the pink one better
I noticed that both of these are on sale.... but they're not too nice, imo....
I think, espically if you're going to use them for your feature performances (are you?) that you should shell out some more money and go for one of the brocade ones, they are amazing.
I like the second one! but you said it doesn't come with a hat...you HAVE to have a pirate hat with a pirate outfit.
I'm loving the first one. Total sucker for pink here.
EDIT- Boots would be perfect.
I don't know. If it's just for fun to wear one night at work or at a party they're cute. But not for featuring. I like the pink one, but I'm not a big fan of the huge skull and crossbone.
The second one is much more piratey
Depends on your body type. The pink one looks like it has an underwire to enhance boobs. The poofy skirt would give you an ass and hips if you are lacking in that department. I would wear the black one, as I think a silhouette like that is more flattering to wide hips and ass.
I like the first one (minus the eye patch, lol!)
Id go with the first one but do it up nicely... add some sequin to it... make some cute under pieces stuff like that..
I love the first one!
I'm undecided as honestly I don't know which suits your body better.

I still think without the hat it would still work. Plus even if you did wear a hat, you would be taking on/off all the time so what's the use ? This is why I am hate-less with the majority of my outfits.
I dont know which one will suit my body the best. I am 5' and weigh about 95 pounds. I am not buying a full price one because they are over $150-$250USD and I am paying in Australian dollars. If I got paid for feature work I wouldn't mind but I am doing it as a house-girl and they are just waiving house fee so IMO it's not worth going to the expense.
Honestly I think these are cuter:
Almost all my costumes start with a hat. You play it into your act. Why wear a pirate without a hat? Your hat sets your theme. The reason a lot of costumes have head pieces and hats is because it helps set the mood of your theme, you wear it the first minute or so of your show and ta da you toss it to the side.
My circus side show has a top hat, I have a whole routine I use to play it in the first song then I use it again on the third or fourth to help remind the guys of the theme.
I like the pink because I'm girly, I think it'd be fine for work.
If you were going to be using it for feature work I would have said the second one and added some glitz like rhinestones or sequins.
I LOVE the 2nd... NOt crazy about the 1st. Seems like Little Bo Peep went to the wrong costume party. but the 2nd would look great on you, esp as a brunette... i think the 1st would look better on a blond. but again, I still think it's lollipop pirate.
wow thanks for the link i like these ones way better too. i didn't check out flirt catalogue.
Although the ones posted recently are very nice, I love the first one! It's all girly and pretty, and I want it for myself :cutie:. The second one would probably give a sexier shape though.
As for the carribean corsair, while it may look more "authentic'" I don't think it's quite piratey enough. I don't know if people would catch on, even with the hat :noidea:.
i like the pink one....i have a few pirate outfits that i wear for skits at work and customers love it.
