I think the sixth sense is when you're picking up the not so obvious clues. You hear somone speaking but their tone is off, their demeanor is off, or the facts are off. You're a witness to bad acting and yet the other person won't acknowledge it! That's when the gut kicks in and says 'back up, something's off'.
I had a feeling I'd crash my car today... for some reason I was being SUPER careful all day thinking I'd crash it.
..it's in the tow yard now. *sigh*
FUCKING instinct!
Morr
I think you should never get another car...... One after the other after the other.....
I'm still on my first one (yes she has had prangs etc yet nothing major).....
?????
So ... is it able to get fixed? Do you have to get yet another car?
In re: intuition/gut feelings when speaking with people .... I feel that it is my mind that has picked up some subtle body language that I consciously didn't pick up that is telling me "this person is shady" etc.
There have been many studies to show that we do actually read each other non verbally (body language) than verbally.
Oops. My bad! I forgot the :P emoticon. I was just amazed at your run of bad luck, hadn't read the thread you created in relation to the event yet at the time of my post and thus the reason I typed what I typed.... ;D
No harm, no foul. One of these days you will find that perfect car that will last you for 10+ years ;D
I just found out the inlaws wanna buy me a 20k car... they figure if they buy me a reallyreally nice car then bad shit can't happen by default.. LOL.
