Re: Dogs Won't Stop Barking
What breed are they? Some breeds just bark.
I hear this guy on the radio all the time and he seems to know his stuff:

Well, there is a school of thought that says before you can get the dog to not do something, you have to get it to do something. That is, before you can train it "stay" you have to train it to "come." So long story short: separate them (training two dogs at once is much harder). Do something that makes them bark - like ring the doorbell or whatever while telling them to "speak". Then tell them to "shush" or "be quiet" or whatever command you plan to use. Hold their little muzzle closed for a second (gently, because training is fun) then give them a treat. Repeat for about 5 minutes everyday. Keep in mind that training should be fun for your dog. It shouldn't be hard work and they shouldn't dread it. They should look forward to it.
In the meantiime you might try this: http://www.vetstop.com.au/infoh/husher.htm. It works.
Finally, you might consider an all over problem. If your dog is barking like that WHEN YOU ARE HOME there could be a greater issue. Dogs should generally feel pretty confident that YOU will look after being in charge of the property and whatnot; after all, you're supposed to be in charge. Your dogs might be a little confused about their role in the hierarchy. If they are allowed on the couch or the bed, stop allowing them on the couch or the bed.
Re: Dogs Won't Stop Barking
Well the reason they started barking like this is because for about a month (I didn't know at first) our mailman was coming up to our screened in porch and teasing both of my dogs, like getting them mad at one point. I think this made them aggressive towards strangers. Although it's only when it's in our property, if I take them to PetsMart, they are fine and want to lick and be pet by everyone.
