Anyone else Addicted to Family Dollar/Dollar General?
Over the past few years, there has been a huge amount of stores like these popping up. I literally have like 7-8 Family Dollars in a 5mi radius! :O I LOVE Family Dollar though. It's a shame too..everytime I go, I end up going for one or two items, but then end up spending $40. Anyone else have this problem?

Oh man I miss those!! I used to fuck with the employees and ask them the prices... but one day I was there and it was $1 for FORTY yogurts. They expired the next day. I had a yogurt party.

I'm using the dollar stores to help decorate my apartment. I got a really pretty mini-vase there the other day for my kitchen table, and got some silk flowers to put in 'em. Picture frames, wall hangings, etc.

Yep, we raid the shelves when we find LA's Totally Awesome cleaner at Family Dollar.
Dea Sea Mineral skin products are also a common find at Dollar General stores.
I'd recommend Big Lots for makeup and soaps...they move a lot of that stock so they have new items all the time.

I like it a lot, i've found some really neat things there.

Dude, I feel your pain; I'm like a junkie too, CK. Bad news is: there's one a block away from my house (*cough* by the way, this played no factor in deciding which apartment complex we were moving to. Nope, none at all. *cough* *cough*). I can (and do) walk there! I'm always "just throwing in" (you know, in the tiny dinky carts): epsom salts, conditioner, stationary, paper towels, cleaning stuff, etc. etc.
I always walk out of Family Dollar with a ton of bags, a light wallet, and one guilty conscience...
"I got so much stuff! And it's all stuff I use on a regular basis! And it was SO CHEAP!"
"Shut up, you do this twice a week."
:seesaw:

I love dollar stores. Around here we have Dollar General, and Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar....
A few summers ago I was in Europe with some friends and everything was super expensive, and we joked about finding a Family Euro or a Euro General. Hehehe.
