Game Show Idea
The name of the game will be called Parlay. It is a game of trading items adn hopefully always trading up.
The idea is to start everybody out with the same worthless item and then to see who can end up with the best final possession. The contestants will swap from one item to the next by the power of persuasion and through skillful bartering over a period of one week.
So for example:
A contestant starts out with a common lead pencil which is immediately traded for a cat-eye marble.
The contestant then convinces some person that the marble was formerly owned by Johnny Depp and trades that person the marble for a Honus Wagner baseball card which is worth 1.2 Million dollars and voila we have a winner.
Notice how the game invites every form of persuasive technique. Damn, I'd lose out on using flirtations as a persuasive device. I'd probably need to pitch in a shoe shine job or something.
Anyway...what do you think of the idea?? Should I submit the idea to Hollywood?

Re: Game Show Idea
A dude on Craigslist started out with a paper clip and traded his way to a house. It made the national news when he did it.
I don't know if I would want to watch it on TV though.
