Man, Straight Dope has a whole thread about this. But these dudes don't go the whole "cause the lyrics aren't sexy" route.... they're just weird.

Money in the Bank - Swizz Beatz
I love the song, but it's not a good look for a dancer on stage.
lol they played that the other night while I was onstage, and I was happy, I like my disturbed, didn't even thing for a second they wouldnt cut out the "stop mommy your hurting me" part, and I'm writihing away on the floor and there it goes and I'm like "wtf am I supposed to do with this". Totally agree with you on that.
And I love sublime, but I hate when girls dance to it...it just...makes...no...sense.
ok my list is short but i can't stand these songs:
" warewolf in london"- Warren Zevron
" fuck her gently" - Tenancious D
" my humps" - Black eyed peas
" the pussy cat song" - Connie Vannett
We had this bouncer who would sneak in the dj booth and add warewolf in london, and the dj would randomly play the pussy cat song it was way to annoying.
"Golddigger", Rihanna's "Unfaithful" and "Maneater" are all good songs with shitty lyrics to have in a strip club setting.
I've got one to top all of you!
So there was this one girl who was new and she would ALWAYS play this one song. It was country (strike 1) she would play it during peak hours (strike2) she played it so much people knew her by it (strike 3) and I can't remember the name of it but it goes something like this "She's somebodies daugher, somebodies little girl." And not in a sexy naughty type way but in a "omg! this is just wrong that I am watching this girl" type way. UH AND it was even worse when she would play it while I was giving a private dance because it made it very uncomfortable between me and the man I was dancing for. One guy told me that he wanted to wait till the next song because he just couldn't watch me dance while that song was being played
UH!!!
^^^ I take it that country = strike because there are no customers whatsoever that like country there?
Country is fine if it is played at the right times. Like during the day is ok but on a busy friday night? No... I don't think so
Opps, country doesnt equal strike the strike is for the statement after country
for example
(strike one) blaah blah
(strike two) blah blah
not
blah blah (strike one)
now that i read it I can see how u thought that
I can't smile through Nickelback's "Side Of A Bullet" & they played it for me...Too depressing and hits too close to home.
''Tip Drill'' Nelly and ''Amusement Park'' by 50 Cent
"Jesus Loves me" and the theme song for "Law & Order SVU"
Dum Duh DUUm DUUUH DUUUUUUH DUUUUUUUH
What about " Before He Cheats " by Carrie Underwood? I like the song but not so sure its appropriate in a SC setting.
I have not read the whole thread so pardon if this is covered, but anything by Wierd Al Yankovic would pretty much kill the mood...;D
lol u have to download this song
"ahora te puedes marchar"
by luis miguel
that's the first song i heard the first time i went to a stripclub
oh my god it's lame, listen to it please!!!
it talks about a girl who was a lier, cheater and stuff, and the guy tells her "now you can leave", but is not the lyrics what bothers me, its the music!
who can strip to that rythm?
there it is

Outcast- Roses
" I know you like to think your shit dont stink but lean a little closer and see that roses really smell like eeww poo poo, yeah your roses really smell like like eeww poo poo"
A girl danced to this song and a customer bought a rose and accually put it on the stage! I almost pissed my pants......;D
