Time Management for a procrastinator
So, after looking over my school schedule for the fall for the umpteenth time, I really need to become better at budgeting my time. I have 16 credits, and I work 28-30 hours a week. I know that's not *that* much, but I'm horrible at procrastinating. I need to pull a 4.0 for the semester.
Anyone have any tips or websites or books or ANYTHING that has helped them? I get the little books to write down my time, I write lists of what needs to be done, and I just don't stick to it. Anyone? :-\

Work before play. The easiest way to do it.
Get everything done before you even think about going out on the town or something like that.

Just remember this: Procrastination is like mastrubation. It seems like a good idea at the time, then you realize you're only fucking yourself!;D

^^ hehe, i love that quote! DJ, thing is, I don't go out, that's not the issue, I will find like...any excuse to not do what I'm supposed to. It's really frustrating, because for whatever reason, I can't seem to stop doing it.

Sxy, a very good book (all the rage among executives) is David Allen's "Getting things Done." I have used some of his ideas myself over the past few years--with paper- and PDA-based systems--and keep going back to the book for a refresher every now and then.
I highly recommend this book.
Good luck!~

Just replace "going out" with whatever it is you do instead.
It really is as simple as just get your work done first before you do anything else. Once you start doing it a few times it'll fall into place and become a lot easier. Its all in the mind. Just know that if you don't do it that 4.0 will be exponentially harder to achieve.
