Question for the photographers here
I'm too lazy to look this up in another forum. I want to take some nice photos of my cats, print, frame, and put them up in the office. Yes, I'm THAT lady now. :-\
That being said, what's the best background color and light scheme to use for some "portrait" type photos of animals? Two are tabby, meaning grey, tawny, and black stripes/spots. The other one is all black.
I have a Kodak EasyShare v603, and its pretty decent, for me at least. It takes the best photos in auto mode. When I try to use the features, they don't turn out as well.
Any advice?
Re: Question for the photographers here
Well apparently not too many photographers here.
When I went to get my staged photos I seem to remember they had a variety of backgrounds so there seems to be no fixed rule. The only photo info I know is the pictures turn out better when you use a tripod or rest the camera on something, if you mean print yourself at home buy some photo paper, if you want lighting put different light sources or use the sun.

Re: Question for the photographers here
cat photos are fun... umm backgrounds varys for there personlity and type of shots you r looking for. in terms of editing a plain white never fails gives u the most options but really depends on the type of shots u want cuz natural backgrounds such as couches electronics and what not can also make for a nice pic.
