hemorrhagic cystitis
So, I woke up this morning urinating blood. I was having back pain last night but not a lot of difficulty or pain with urination. I went to the doc and he said he didn't see a lot of white blood cells under the microscope but that may have been because I have so much blood (red blood cells) in my urine. He puts me on a round of Macrobid which is pretty much finishing me off as far as being tired goes. He doesn't think it's kidney stones because of my pain level not being that severe. I also had a CT scan in June that showed no evidence of stones. This is about my 8th UTI since November of last year. My grandmother informed today that my late mother had them a lot when she was younger as well. So, if I still have blood in my urine in two weeks I have to go back and have more tests done. I hope it's not anything too serious.

Re: hemorrhagic cystitis
Oh god, I'm sorry. I hate female problems more than lots and lots of things...especially those involving non-period blood. :( So sorry. Did they say why they think it happened? Seems like a lot of female problems are inherited. Good luck, hope it goes away.

Re: hemorrhagic cystitis
He isn't sure but he doesn't seem to think it's solely infection or infection at all. I guess if I keep feeling shitty I'll go back for more tests.:-\
